Though they first gained attention even pre-debut for being "the group produced by Rain", these days the group is standing just fine on their own name. Active in not only music, the members have become familiar faces on TV variety shows, radio, and even dramas and movies. Though undoubtedly one of the more recognizable male idol groups on the scene, they struggled a bit for the past year or so making really hit songs. That all changed 2012 with their song "It's War", that brought home another number one hit. Known for their powerful performances, see them live for their Seoul concert.
MBLAQ's G.O and Mir has released their first duet together on June 27th titled "Wild." Yesterday, the duo released an image teaser in anticipation of their unit's single release. Unfortunately, there are no plans for G.O and Mir to promote the single on music shows, and will instead concentrate on their upcoming tour with their group.
"Wild" is a track with straightforward lyrics regarding a man's confidence and has an addictive melody with a punk, groovy, hip-hop sound. Both G.O and Mir assisted in writing the lyrics, to which G.O said, "We wanted to emphasize a man's full confidence and sexiness."
Meanwhile, MBLAQ kick started their tour on June 21st and 22nd in Seoul, and is preparing to have their next concert in Jakarta, Indonesia on the 30th.
