After releasing their music video for "Hoi Hoi" last week, Rainbow's sub group Rainbow Pixie has released the NG cuts from the filming of the music video. It is almost as long as the full music video and shows off scenes that were not used in the final version of the music video.
During the scenes in which they are laying down, the falling feathers keep humorously landing on their faces, seemingly on accident. The ending features the members playfully dancing with the background dancers.
Comprised of Hyun Young, Ji Sook, and Seung Ah, Rainbow Pixie shows off a mix of innocence and maturity. They had their first performances of the song last weekend on Music Core and Inkigayo, and celebrated with their fellow Rainbow members.
On January 16th, DSP Media shared two backstage photos from MBCs Show! Music Core. Taken on the 14th, the three members of Rainbow Pixie (Seung Ah, Jisook, and Hyun Young) are seen holding gifts brought by their fellow Rainbow groupmates (Jaekyung, Woori, Yoon Hye, and No Eul).
Rainbow had wanted to commemorate the debut performance of Hoi Hoi, and so they gave Rainbow Pixie a cake and a broomstick. The broomstick, oddly enough, was meant to be a magic broomstick to complement Rainbow Pixies fairy concept.
Rainbow‘s first ever sub-unit, Rainbow Pixie, has just recently stepped into the music scene with their debut title track titled Hoi Hoi.
The funky track brings out the aegyo of the units members Seungah, Jisook, and Hyunyoung. The girls brought their game to todays episode of MBCs Music Core to put on one hot stage for fans.
Its being reported that on January 13th, the DJ played Rainbow Pixies Hoi Hoi three times during his hour-long show. Typically, the station plays eight songs in total during one episode, but on this day, Rainbow Pixies debut song took up more than a third of the broadcast.
Shin Hae Chul played the original song first, followed by the remix. He then concluded the show by playing Hoi Hoi one last time. The DJ recognized that he may have overdone it, and so he jokingly commented, I mis-clicked [the mouse].
The veteran DJ has been displaying an interest in idol music lately. I was a KARA fan before, but I changed to Rainbow, said Shin Hae Chul on a TV program. However, he soon showed a change of heart when he confessed, I like Nine Muses.
The sugary-sweet MV brought out all the aegyo and girlish charms from members Seungah, Jisook, and Hyunyoung. Now, theyre offering more sweet goodness with the release of the NG music video for Hoi Hoi.
NG stands for No Good and these scenes are basically outtakes, the scenes that were taken out from the original music video for various mistakes.
