KBS held a special “Olympic London 2012 Festival” at Yeouido Park in Seoul to commemorate the South Korean athletes of the 2012 London Olympics Games. There were 150 athletes there in attendance and some of the medalists even performed on stage.

Korea’s top artists who performing at the event including B2ST, SHINee, G.NA, CNBLUE, Tiger JK and Tasha, KARA, SISTAR, CNBLUE, INFINITE, Ulala Session, 4minute, EXO-K, and more.

The goal of  South Korea is to win 10 gold medals and this nation proved to be an athletic powerhouse at the Olympics surpassing it’s goal by achieving 13 gold medals (fifth overall) and finishing in the top 10 with 28 medals overall.

When Park was eliminated from the tournament in the preliminary rounds as he was disqualified for the 400-meter final race, Kim expressed his sadness. However, Park advanced to the finals as his objection was accepted after the video record check, and Kim happily participated in cheering Park in the finals.
