BIGBANG Alive Galaxy Tour 2012 MalaysiaWhen tickets launched for sale on 28 Jul 2012, a total of 12,000 tickets sold out over the weekend; as well as over 3,000 people crowding at the ticket launch event. While many jumped with joy after successfully getting their tickets, some were saddened to find out that all tickets were sold out. Luckily for those fans that have missed their chances to purchase concert tickets previously, concert organizer Running Into The Sun announced today that they will be adding more tickets for sale via ticketing agents Ticketcharge and Red Tix on 17th August, in a bid to prevent reselling of tickets in the black market. Ticket categories available from tomorrow are: Categories 2 (RM 588, Premiere Rockpit Freestanding), 3 (RM 488, Rockpit Freestanding), 4 (RM 388, Fixed Seating), 6 (RM 198, Freeseating) and 7 (RM 188, Freestanding).

“We want to encourage fans not to purchase tickets from unauthorized sources, and we are doing our very best to prevent this. We’ve relooked at the configuration of the stadium and added in more tickets within the safety regulations to ensure more fans will be able to purchase tickets at the acceptable prices” says Wendy Ng, Executive Producer of Running Into The Sun.

This will be the first outdoor concert across Southeast Asia for the BIGBANG Alive Galaxy Tour 2012. It will also be a sky-high experience perfect for a night of high-energy partying, with Big Bang’s unique hip-hop and freestyle dance moves and famous party tunes such as “Fantastic Baby” and “Tonight”. Big Bang will be collaborating with Samsung Electronics for the “BIGBANG ALIVE GALAXY TOUR 2012.” This tour will be a world tour that will begin in Shanghai, China and go through Singapore, Thiland, Indonesia, Taiwan, Philippines, Malaysia, U.S, Peru, Brazil and Europe.

A representative of YG Entertainment stated, “We are very happy that we will be able to do the world tour with Samsung Electronics. This concert will show how durable Hallyu is, now that we are receiving the support from Samsung Electronics, the Big Bang members are now able to focus completely on the concert. We see this as a chance to show fans worldwide the good talents of Big bang.”

After touring Japan in June, BIGBANG will focus on their promotional activities in Korea before continuing with the second leg of the BIGBANG ALIVE TOUR 2012.
