"2012 Korean Music Wave" Concert Cancelled Due To Budget Issues
A written apology was released last Saturday, a representative from HH Company stated that even though the entire staff have done their earnest to push through with the concert as planned, the company had no other choice but to cancel it. The representative was further quoted saying, “We totally understand how our decision brings down the audiences, who have chosen our show among other big concerts. We promise to get back on our feet to repay for all the disappointments we have caused."
The"2012 Korean Music Wave" was set to be held at the Incheon World Cup Stadium on September 15th and was supposed to feature artists such as, Super Junior, KARA, Jang Wooyoung, FT Island, 4minute, Teen Top, A Pink, Rainbow, ZE:A, Girl's Day and B.A.P with Lee Hyukjae as the host.
The Cancellation Of ’2012 Korean Music Wave Festival’ In Incheon Made Fans Of Super Junior’S Leeteuk And Others Worry
HH Company gave their announcement and apology onto the Korean Wave Festival’s official website. They stated that the show put off due to expenses. The sudden cancellation has made many fans angy and disappointed because the artists were well-known idol groups such as KARA, Super Junior, F.T. Island, B.A.P, ZE:A, Boyfriend, Girl’s Day, Rainbow, A Pink, and so on.
Moreover, fans of Super Junior’s Leeteuk have expressed their concern becuase this is the last performance Leeteuk has took the stage before joining in the military later this year.
One fan commented, “I heard Leeteuk prepared a lot for this as it would probably be his last stage performance before enlisting. This is disappointing.” Another shared, “We won’t be able to see Leeteuk for the next two years. I’m shocked by the cancellation.”
The 2012 Pledis Asian-American Audition In U.s.a Is To Be Held
The agency, Pledis, where represents Son Dam Bi, Park Kahi, After School, Orange Caramel, NUEST, and Hello Venus, will hold a special audition to find talented Asian-American artists, who will capture Korea and the world with their music.
The 2012 Pledis Asia-American Audition in U.S.A is to find Asian-Americans, who have various talents to become international K-pop representatives, in any fields, including, singer, actor, and model.
The audition will be held on October 13 and 14 in LA and San Francisco. Additional information about their schedules and audition will be posted on their official Facebook account (//www.facebook.com/pledisNewStar).

The 4th annual “Korean Music Wave” concert will take place on September 15 at the World Cup Stadium in Incheon. This year’s concert, hosted by MBC Music and HH Company, will feature some of the top K-Pop acts, including Super Junior, Kara, FT Island, Jang Woo Young, 4minute, Teen Top, APink, ZE:A, Rainbow, Girls’ Day, and B.A.P.

Some of the hottest hip hop acts will be heating up the stage at the 2012 Caribbean Bay Summer Wave Festival.
According to the event organizers, the current lineup of acts include Tiger JK, Yoon Mi-rae, Bobby Kim and Buga Kinz. The festival will be running at the outdoor waterpark Caribbean Bay on July 14-15th.
