At the conclusion of her third trial in court on May 17, she was sentenced to 2 years in prison after being found guilty of filing false charges against Lee Jin Wook. The police stated, “The damage to the victim (Lee Jin Wook) is large, and the nature of the incident violates the serious offense of sexual assault.”
Ms. Oh also said in her final statement, “It was my fault for not screaming or resisting, but I was scared. Even if the same situation arose, I think the same thing would happen.” Previously, there were reports Ms. Oh had confessed to making false charges, which her lawyer denied.
Her sentencing will be held on June 14.
