WINNER Rises With Really Really; Soompi’s K-Pop Music Chart 2017, April Week 4

WINNER moves up from No. 8 to be the new No. 1 song on our chart this week with Really Really. This song won on Inkigayo and M!Countdown last week, and is their first chart topping hit since their 2014 debut song Empty. Congratulations to WINNER!

Girl’s Day’s I’ll be yours remains at No. 2 while Highlight’s Plz Don’t Be Sad, last week’s champion, drops two spots to No. 3.

There are three new songs in the top 10 this week. Debuting at No. 4 is IU’s Can’t Love You Anymore. This song is the second pre-released single from IU’s fourth studio album. It is an RB ballad featuring indie artist Oh Hyuk. IU has just released her fourth album Palette yesterday. The title song of the same name featuring G-Dragon was just released, so Can’t Love You Anymore may have a short stay on our chart.

Moving up 12 spots to No. 7 is Taeyeon’s Make Me Love You. This is the title song from the deluxe edition of Taeyeon’s first album and is an RB style ballad that is made for the spring season. Taeyeon’s soft and enticing vocal matches the calm and soulful melody of this song.

Besides the No. 1 song Really Really, WINNER has a second song in the top 10! Moving up two spots to No. 10 is Fool. This is the other title song from their single album FATE NUMBER FOR. It is a ballad with piano melody that talks about the feelings couples experience in their relationship.
