Girls Day has reportedly nailed the Running Horse Choreo in the music video designed for the song called Ring My Bell

Girls Day has reportedly nailed the Running Horse Choreo in the music video designed for the song called Ring My Bell

Girls Day Rocks Running Horse Choreo in Ring My Bell MV Girls Day has dropped the music video for title track Ring My Bell off of their second full-length album LOVE.

According to the Girls Day members at their showcase on July 6, Ring My Bell tells the story of the kind of blithe love that makes a bell go off when you see a guy you like.

These days, it seems a dance hook is just as important as a musical hook to the success of a pop song, and Girls Days new music video has both. On their unique dance hook, member Minah comments, In the first refrain, theres choreography where we act like were riding on a horse while doing the dog leg dance. Since dog leg dance isnt the prettiest name, I think we will have to make up another one. I guess we can combine run with horse to call it running horse dance.

Check out the music video and share with us your thoughts!

Girl Group “The Ark” Releases Debut Song and Music Video Titled “The Light”

Girl Group “The Ark” Releases Debut Song and Music Video Titled “The Light”

The upcoming girl group The Ark has released the debut song and music video for their digital single, The Light.

Their agency K Entertainment stated, The Light will be released via music sites at noon on April 10, as well as the music video via official YouTube channel.

On April 8, The Ark revealed the teaser video first, hinting an uplifting melody coupled with emotional lyrics, and built up the anticipation among fans.

The Light was written by songwriter Kim Tae Sung, who also wrote Girls Generations The Boys. Together with the help of producer group Iconic Sounds, this song is labeled Contemporary RB for its mix of lyrical guitar riffs and hip-hop style.

This song is about a person who used to only care about herself and no one else, but suddenly discovers happiness when she starts living for someone else and learns to be selfless. The portrayed emotions can be felt in relationships between lovers, friends, or family, making it very easy for the general public to relate to.

The music video tells the story of an immature high school student and her caring mother. The mom lives only for the happiness of her daughter, but when her daughter suddenly dies in a car crash, the mom is then left all by herself.

The talented actress Jo Min Soo starred as the mom and The Ark member Halla took the role of the daughter.

The actress supported the group saying, I liked the song right from the first time I heard it because it was different than the typical sounds of idols these days. And I decided to take the role because [the music video] compels the audience to figure out the story in a short time frame.

I wish only the best for The Ark as they take their first step into society, and hopefully they are recognized as talented singers of the nation and not just as an idol, she said, leaving the group with a supporting message.

The Ark will perform their debut song The Light on SBSs Inkigayo on April 12.

Brown Eyed Girl's Ga In Accused of Plagiarism in Her Latest Music Video

Brown Eyed Girl's Ga In Accused of Plagiarism in Her Latest Music Video

BEG_Gain_hawwah

Previously, Brown Eyed GirlsGa In has been accused of plagiarizing her latest music video. Fans of her have come to her defense against plagiarism accusation from American brand Xoticy and its creator Monica Wilson, uploading various videos of other dancers with similar moves as alleged proof.

On the popular community website portal, DC Inside, a fan published a thread in the “Brown Eyed Girls Gallery” with the title, “Ga In choreography plagiarism accusation counter data,” and posted a series of videos that showed many others using similar moves Xoticy has claimed as their own original moves in their accusation against Ga In.

The original author of the post included an edited version of Xoticy’s original plagiarism accusations, making an argument that the moves are so generic that many others have been seen dancing the same or alternative moves for years even before 2009.

Following the initial release of Xoticy’s “call-to-action” public announcement on March 13th, which has since gained 130,000 views, many have been commenting that the video is just a ploy to gain attention.

In response, Monica Wilson replied through her Twitter with a series of tweets on March 14th PST stating, “When you’re not mentally mature you will never understand a mature situation. [1] If you don’t have facts just be unheard. [2] Humans apply too much time Into defending a situation with No facts. That’s wasting time on earth. Life is too great to do a such thing. [3]”

“Just look at the Time and date stamp on videos and that will tell you your answer. #ResearchPpl. [4] How can one speak on a stripper when you’ve never lived in a stripper shoes? Strippers dance sexy NOT Xoticy BIG Difference. No comparing. [5] Just because it’s new to you doesn’t mean it’s New. [6] I want attention? HA Attention don’t pay bills. I help women via dance #Fact #Xoticy Created by Myself. My style of dance. My sexy. [7]” (March 15th)

In other news, Ga In’s title track “Apple” has been banned from non-cable networks due to its suggestive lyrics, and the original choreography for “Paradise Lost” is not allowed to be performed on said networks as well due to the dance’s nature.

Get That K-Pop Look: Girl's Day In 'Something' Music Video

Get That K-Pop Look: Girl's Day In 'Something' Music Video

Welcome to this week"s Get That K-pop Look, where we showcase an original K-pop outfit and give you tips on putting together your own similarly styled, affordable outfit.

This week, we"re taking a look at one of the main looks in the new Girls Day hit, "Something." The women wear a few outfits in the video, including some flamenco looking red dresses, swan-white numbers, and a little good ol" fashioned leopard print. The outfit most evocative of a modern take on the 90s goth look is one that we see consistently throughout the video - a slimming all-black outfit that remains intimidating and demure despite revealing some belly and a leg. Read on for tips on putting together a similar look that"s sure to raise appreciate eyebrows anywhere you wear it.

Mock Neck Raglan Mesh Sleeve Crop Top, $16.99 from Charlotte Russe

There"s something pretty tantalizing about a mesh sleeve. It"s enough cover so that the wearer feels comfortable, but it teases to anyone else that there"s a lot of long limb under those sleeves. This version goes great with the black maxi but would also be the perfect accent to a high-waisted zebra print skirt or some distressed boyfriend jeans.

Long Style Black Lace Bangles with Flowers Ring, $10.55 from Rosewe

Instead of looking for a single mesh top with lacy cuffs, just invest in a good pair of lace bangle cuffs. These add a bit of a mysterious, witchy look to any boring outfit.

Torrent Body Chain, $17.50 from Nasty Gal

This cascading body chain is a killer addition to any outfit you own. If you"re not comfortable draping this over a bare belly, no worries - this looks just as rad when it"s spicing up an old tee or a cocktail dress.

Jenna Split Maxi Skirt, $15.20 from Missguided

It"s tough to find a more versatile clothing item than the long black maxi skirt. This thing can be dressed up with a silk blouse or blazer, made funky with a zebra print crop top, chill with a distressed tee, or, of course, 90s gothic style with a mesh top. If you"re looking to add basic staples to your closet, don"t think twice before nabbing this super affordable maxi.

Pointy-Toe Pumps, $37.71 from YesStyle

Best to keep it simple and sleek with the straight lines in this outfit. A patent leather pointy heel will never steer you wrong, especially when it"s the kicker to this all-black look.

Girl Group Pritz to Edit Music Video Following Nazi Symbol Controversy

Girl Group Pritz to Edit Music Video Following Nazi Symbol Controversy

The agency representing girl group Pritz has responded to the growing controversy around the members stage outfits, which some claim are reminiscent of Nazi uniforms.

On November 15, a representative of PandaGram commented to StarNews, Never did we expect such controversy [about Nazi uniforms] to arise. We only looked at the red color and thought it was fine, and did not check the outfits properly at the time.

Pritz has worn the outfit twice at two events, on November 1 and 2. The music video, in which the members appear wearing the outfits, is currently being edited. We are preparing a letter of explanation, the agency concluded.

The rookie girl group has been under fire for their stage outfits following a report by Wall Street Journal that pointed out the striking similarities between Pritz outfits and the black uniforms worn in Nazi Germany. Netizens claim the red-and-white armbands have been inspired by the swastika symbol, which is commonly associated with Nazism.

Pritz debuted in last April, and they recently made their comeback with Sora Sora. The edited version of their music video will be released on November 18.
