Hwang Jung Eum Kim Yong Jun
Part of the fun of watching the variety show "We Got Married" isseeing celebrities coupled up and wondering if the relationship willcontinue after the show.
Although actress Hwang Jung Eum and singer Kim Yong Jun were alreadydating before they appeared on the show in 2009, they excelled atpretending to be married in front of a big audience. They often hadfights but made up quickly, making them an audience favorite.
That's apparently a recipe for relationship success, since four years later their relationship is still going strong.
The relationship has weathered busy career schedules, a scandal,Kim's absence due to military service and the actress having to kissattractive actors as part of her drama roles.
The couple appeared on "We Got Married" when the show decided to try something new by adding real-life couples.
Hwang, who debuted with the kpop girl group Sugar, became awell-known actress after she appeared in the sitcom, "High Kick Throughthe Roof." After that she had roles in "Giant," Can't You Hear MyHeart?" and most recently in "Incarnation of Money."
Kim Yong Jun is a member of the ballad trio SG Wannabee, whose firstalbum, "Timeless," quickly jumped to the top of the charts. The couplemet in 2006, around the time SG Wannabee released their third album,"The Third Masterpiece."
The couple almost broke up once when Hwang was said to be seeingactor Daniel Choi while they filmed "High Kick Through The Roof."
The false rumors created problems for both actors but Hwang managed to convince Kim that it wasn't true.
During Kim's military service, which began last year, the two managed to see each other as often as they could.
When asked if it was difficult to be apart, she said, "We've beendating for seven years now. We've surpassed the 'I miss you if I don'tsee you every single day stage.' It's more than love now; it's a strongfriendship. He feels like family."
But feeling like family apparently doesn't stop him from gettingjealous. When Kim found out that Hwang had to kiss a fellow actor in thedrama "Incarnation of Money," he asked her, "How come you didn't tellme that you had a kiss scene?"
He called her "evil" for not telling him but that only made herlaugh. It's a good thing their relationship is so strong that they canlaugh about love scenes since the actress is sure to have many more ofthem.
SG Wannabe"s Kim Yong Joon mentioned his ex-girlfriend, actress Hwang Jung Eum, throughout his appearance on MBC"s "Radio Star" on September 16. the 2 have dated for nine years, yet ended the dating back in May.
On the show, Kim Yong Joon used to be not able to evade questions about her. Unable to forget about the MCs" questions, he just stated, "She at all times works hard, so i am hoping that she would do well," wisely adding, "Love is anything that gets forgotten thru new love."
Kim Gu Ra responded, "Another love would come to find you, right?" Kim Yong Joon continued, "Rather than going at it deliberately or assembly by way of a blind date, i love meeting any individual who naturally reveals me."

Hwang Jung Eum has broken up with her longtime boyfriend SG Wannabe singer Kim Yong Joon. According to the Korean media outlet Yonhap News, the couple has officially ended their nine-year relationship.
Both her agency C-JeS Entertainment and his agency, IS Entermedia Group, have confirmed the split.
At a press conference for "Kill Me, Heal Me," Hwang Jung Eum admitted that the couple was fighting and that she was mad at him.
"I was filming, I was busy and I caught a cold, but I wanted to eat something good for dinner, so I asked him to make a reservation. He didn"t, so I told him to call it quits. I guess this is what happens after nine years. It"s not great. It"s time to break up. Seriously."
She made a joke of their fight but things did not get better When the actress finished filming "Kill Me, Heal Me," the couple had a talk and decided to call it quits.
It"s not the first time that the couple has broken up. In a 2014 interview the actress explained that breaking up and making up had become part of their relationship.
"We repeat the cycle of breaking up and getting back together," she said. "Even if we do end up breaking up, it doesn"t go on for more than a week. If one person doesn"t call then the other person ends up calling. It"s very strange. We"re like family now."
But this time the break-up may be permanent. According to the Yonhap News article, the couple has broken up repeatedly but this time their minds are set.
The couple began dating in 2006 and in 2009 appeared on the second season of the dating reality show "We Got Married." They were the first real-life couple to be featured on the show. Shortly after the show, the actress had a breakthrough role in the sitcom "High Kick Through The Roof."
Hwang has in the past said conflicting things about the couple"s chances of getting married. In one interview she said that while she loves Kim and he is family to her, he might not be the best marriage partner for her. In a March 2015 interview Hwang told Asia Today that she planned to marry when she was around 34. Both Hwang and Kim are 30.
"I don"t know who it will be. It could be Kim Yong Joon, or someone who is by my side when I"m 34," she said. "But I think I will get married to Kim Yong-joon."
The break-up happened around the same time that Park Soo Jin, who previously belonged to the girl group Sugar, with Hwang Jung Eum, announced her wedding plans with Hallyu star Bae Yong Joon. That couple only dated for three months before deciding to marry.
