On August 7, Wanna One held a press conference at the Gocheok Sky Dome, where they later performed at their debut show-con.
When asked about how their respective agencies treated them now that theyve debuted, Wanna One stated that there were no changes in treatment. They explained, Even before our debut was confirmed, our agencies took good care of us, so rather than saying they treat us differently [in that manner], it feels like they treat us more like artists now.
Wanna One made their debut on August 7 with their mini album 1X1=1 (TO BE ONE), alongside the music video for their title track Energetic, which was chosen directly through fans votes. The mini album contains seven tracks in total, including Burn It Up, which was a contender for the title track, as well as Always, Never, Pick Me, and more.
