Shinhwa Shinhwa Grand Finale: The Classic in Seoul Legendary idols Shinhwa continue to prove their status as K-Pop royalty. On June 12 tickets went on sale for Shinhwa's concert in Seoul to be held on August 3 and 4 at the Olympic Park Gymnastics Hall. Unfortunately for thousands of fans, with so many people trying to access the ticketing site Interpark, the servers were overloaded and crashed just seven minutes after opening up sales. According to the Shinhwa Company, tickets for the 2013 Shinhwa Grand Finale: The Classic in Seoul went on sale at 8pm KST and by 8:05pm, 27,000 seats were sold out

 According to a June 13 announcement by his agency, Roy Kim, a winner of Super Star K4 (one of Korea’s best-known contests for singers), will release his first studio album at the end of this month and is working on the final stage of the album now. The album contains a variety of numbers such as “Spring Spring Spring,” which was prereleased in April. When Kim released “Spring Spring Spring,” he swept most of the music charts in Korea, beating Jo Yong Phil and Psy. The struggle to achieve popularity is a battle in Korean music industry, with many superstars releasing albums and conducting promotional activities, and now Kim has joined the fray, too

 According to a June 12 press release by the Chinese Film Festival, Jang Dong Gun, Jung Woo Sung, Park Shin Hye, and Ji Sung will attend the opening ceremony of the 2013 Chinese Film Festival, which will be held on June 16.   Prior to this, it was announced that the opening film is to be The Grandmaster, directed by Wong Karwai, and that Leung Chiu Wai and Zhang Ziyi are going to attend the opening ceremony. In addition, Also in attendance will be Song Hye Kyo, who appeared in The Grandmaster, and the honorary ambassador Chun Jung Myung

Great news for fans of Roy Kim! “Super Star K 4” winner, Roy Kim, will release his first official album near the end of June. Roy Kim, who recently signed up with CJ E&M, which will work as his album production and management company, first successfully released a single titled “Spring Spring Spring” in April. He will now be releasing his first offical studio album in June, joining the contining onslaught of comebacks this month (SISTAR, Nell, After School, Lee Seung Chul, Ulala Session, YB, among the many) in the K-Pop industry

Roy Kim, winner of Mnet′s Superstar K4, will be releasing his prize album in June and join in the upcoming war.A rep from CJ E&M′s music division told enews on June 13, "Roy Kim will start promoting his studio album after its release in June. He′s now putting his finishing touches on the album, and is filling it will songs as colorful and good as Spring, Spring, Spring." The rep added, "Roy Kim started working on the album soon after he released Spring, Spring, Spring in April, and he′s been pouring in his best efforts

  Brad Pitt came to Korea to promote his new movie World War Z. While he was there for promotions, Tiffany from SNSD was able to interview to mega star for the SBS show One Night of TV Entertainment.   The interview took place at the beautiful and historic Gyeongbokgung, a royal palace located in northern Seoul. Mr. Pitt is said to have an interest in the history and culture of Korea. Tiffany presented him with a traditional gift for husbands and wives which is said to bring harmony into their relationship and instructed him to open it with his partner, famous actress Angelina Jolie

Rising idol group VIXX has proven their popularity at the news of being selected to model for a global watch brand. Jellyfish Entertainment announced on June 12, “VIXX has signed a contract to model for the global watch brand, JOWISSA.” VIXX will not only model for the brand but will also launch a “VIXX Black Edition,” which will be priced at thousands of dollars. The “VIXX Black Edition” will be modeled after the VIXX members themselves and will have six different colors

SM Entertainment‘s rookie group EXO recently made their comeback with “Wolf” and released two behind the scenes videos for their fans through their official SMTOWN YouTube channel. The first video is a making of video for their album photo shoot. The members of EXO switch between casual and formal clothing for this photo shoot. B.A.P didn’t let its trip to USA go to waste, filming a major blockbuster music video in Sin City. On June 13, TS Entertainment revealed two photos from the set of B.A.P’s music video on the streets of Las Vegas. Surrounded by bright lights and casinos galore, B.A.P shot its music video with police surrounding the scene to make sure everything ran smoothly, as large crowds of people gathered to see what was going on. With B.A.P’s music videos becoming more and more extravagant in line with its career growth, anticipation rises for this particular music video, as well as the music that will go along with it
