Upcoming Kpop Concerts In The Philippines 2013.html
In reaction to reports that tickets for Taeyeon of Girls’ Generation‘s upcoming solo concert are being resold at exorbitant prices, SM Entertainment has promised to take action against price ticket scalping.
Taeyeon’s first-ever solo concert series, entitled “Taeyeon’s Very Special Day,” might be held at SMTOWN Theatre from October 23 to 25, and then October 30 to November 1. As expected, tickets were snapped up incredibly rapid when they went on sale on September 23, and all 3,600 seats sold out utterly inside ten minutes!
Scalpers are now benefiting from lovers who are desirous to get a seat for the display through promoting tickets at large markups. Tickets for SHINee member Jonghyun‘s October solo concerts also are selling at upper costs on resale sites, and we’ll perhaps be seeing more of the similar soon when Super Junior member Kyuhyun‘s solo concert tickets move on sale.
On September 25, SM Entertainment stated, “We have showed that tickets for Taeyeon’s concert are selling at increased prices.” They warn that any tickets for SM artist concerts which are came upon to were sold for unfair profits will be cancelled. “We are taking steps to attenuate the damages to consumers,” they write.
Meanwhile, SM Entertainment is expected to announce solo concerts featuring more of its artists. Who do you hope often is the next artist in the series?
