TWICE recently appeared on the latest episode of MBC’s “Weekly Idol.” The girls participated in the “Random Play Dance” segment where messing up leads to a [toy] hammer in the head.
The “Weekly Idol” episode was aired on Wednesday, May 17 where TWICE appeared as guests. The girls recently made their comeback with “Signal” on May 15.
During the episode, All Kpopreports that TWICE members participated in the show’s “Random Play Dance” segment. The girls have to perfectly dance the choreography of the song which is randomly chosen.
However, if a TWICE member gets the choreography wrong, she would get a hammer in the head. It’s just a toy hammer, of course.
The “Random Play Dance” segment started off with TWICE’s latest song “Signal”. Fortunately, the girls perfectly executed the song’s choreography.
However, when “Knock Knock” played, TWICE’s Sana made a mistake and stood where she isn’t supposed to be. Members Mina and Tzuyu also made a mistake in the “Knock Knock” choreography.
TWICE’s “TT” played next where there were no mistakes made. When “Cheer Up” played, Chaeyoung got confused and almost forgot the stepping.
Finally, “Signal” played again where both member Tzuyu and Chaeyoung. The TWICE members stopped dancing due to confusion.
After a short break TWICE proceeded to the 2ndround of the segment. “TT” played and member Jeongyeon made a mistake. Because of this, Jeongyeon received a huge blow to the head with the toy hammer.
Jeongyeon squatted on the floor due to the pain. However, TWICE members showed their love for their fellow member and to make her feel better.
In other news, TWICE’s “Signal” received negative feedback from both ONCEs and netizens. As previously reported, netizens claimed the song “sucks.”
Despite achieving an all-kill status, TWICE’s “Signal” only achieved an average rating of 2.5 percent. This is based on the 19,000 reviews on Melon.
