Girls’ Generation‘s Tiffany and Sunny received a surprise visit from maknae member Seohyun during their rehearsal for their upcoming concert. The trio then sat down to send a message to their fans about their upcoming concert titled “Marchen Fantasy.” The concert will take place during the Kpop music festival “SMTOWN Week.” The concert should be a magical one, since the german word “marchen” means fairy tale.
Girl’s Generation will hold their special concert on December 2 at the Ilsan Kintex. The show will include performances of their hit songs along with heartwarming Christmas songs. Girls’ Generation will also show a special preview for their upcoming album
Actress Kim Jung Eun was the subject of a famous photo exhibition titled “Letters From Angels.” The project is sponsored by the Social Welfare Society and directed by photographer Jo Sae Hyun.
The “Letters From Angels” project began in 2003, when Jo Sae Hyun received a request from a social worker to photograph orphan children for their 100th-day celebrations. The project especially gained recognition and fame with celebrities who gladly posed with children in order to promote adoption. As for Kim Jung Eun, she has been participating in this project for the past thirteen years since gaining the title of honorary ambassador.
Kim Jung Eun said, “I’ve been doing this for the past thirteen years, but still every time, I get very excited at the mere sight of these kids
The three most likely candidates of Na Jung’s (Go Ara) husband on tvN’s “Reply 1994” got together to record a song for the drama.
A representative of “Reply 1994”revealed in an phone interview with Newsen, “Jung Woo, Yoo Yeon Seok, and Son Ho Joon recently finished recording a remake version of ‘Feeling Only You’ originally sung by ‘The Blue.’ We have not decided which episode of ‘Reply 1994’ the song will be revealed, and it is also uncertain whether the track will be available for purchase.”
The song “Feeling Only You” sung by the three actors is the same song Samcheonpo (Kim Sung Kyun) and cameo star Kim Min Jong sang at Na Jung’s wedding in episode 13 which aired on November 13. “Feeling Only You” was originally sung by the actor and singer duo The Blue consisting of Kim Min Jong and Son Ji Chang
With December rapidly approaching, and with year-end award shows and gayos already underway as we move closer and closer to year’s end, it’s time to prepare ourselves and reflect on the year that was 2013.
Oftentimes, an artist’s promoted single may not live up to one of the less promoted songs on the album, and this is the very reason why our writers bring some of these songs to the surface via our Side-B segment. Whether it was buried between filler tracks on a full album or overshadowed by a heavily promoted track on a single or mini, a good side-B is a song that makes us feel like it didn’t get the promotional justice it deserved and thus it never had the chance to be in the spotlight. What are some of your favorite non-promoted or under-promoted tracks of this past year?
Shweta: B-Sides are really the bane of my K-pop existence
Tiffany of Girls’ Generation and Bora of SISTAR, who are in a friendly competition against each other on SBS’ “Fashion King Korea,” displayed their close friendship through a photo.
Tiffany and Bora recently had photos taken together for a “Best Friends Special” to be featured in a fashion magazine. The production staff gave a sneak peak of the two lovely ladies’ photo shoot through posting a selca on “Fashion King Korea” official Facebook page. The two are loved for their individual charms; however, they show a similar vibe inside the photo.
The two stars are starring in “Fashion King Korea,” where a celebrity and a designer form one team and compete against other teams to remain as the last ones standing. Although they compete against each other in order to survive through the rounds on the show, Tiffany and Bora are said to be close friends
Super Junior’s Kyuhyun and Girl’s Generations’ Seohyun will be starring in the musical “The Moon That Embraces the Sun.” Starting in January of 2014, the two will be playing the two lead roles, Lee Hwon, and Yeon Woo, respectively. First written as a novel of the same name, it was adapted into a television drama last year starring Kim Soo Hyun and Han Ga In, hitting an amazing viewer rating of 42%!
The musical premiered once before this past June, being nominated in eight different categories at the 19th Korean Musical Awards. A unique fusion historical drama with large scale choreography featuring 33 songs, the musical was a huge hit at the box office, as well.
Because the previous drama and musical adaptations of “The Moon That Embraces the Sun” have been so successful, there is that much more pressure on Kyuhyun and Seohyun

It would be hard on anyone's self-esteem if you knew that you were the least popular member or most forgettable member in a group. It's hard enough to try to be in a successful group, let alone, be popular and loved. I don't know how it feels personally, but I'm assuming it feels like no getting picked to be on anyone's soccer team in middle school every Wednesday during PE class. Though they might garner the most love, they still have reasons why they still kick major booty. Let's take a look at the most forgotten members in female groups and point out why they are still awesome!
Girls' Generation has a forgotten member and that lady is unfortunately Hyoyeon. I couldn't tell you why, except that I know her popularity isn't nearly as huge as Tiffany, Jessica, Yoona, or Taeyeon
