Girls Generation's Seohyun Joins Star-Studded 'Moon Lovers' Cast

The list of stars helps to keep growing. The maximum recentbig nameto join inthe approaching drama "Moon Lovers" is women Generation member Seohyun.

The singer-actress joins Lee Jun Ki, IU, Kang Ha Neul, Hong Jong Hyun, EXO's Baekhyun, Nam Joo Hyuk and Ji Soo.

The k-drama is in keeping with the Chinese novel "Bu Bu Jing Xin" or "Scarlet Heart" by potential of Tong Hua. The radical already encouraged a 2011 Chinese drama, which made even larger stars out of Chinese actors Nicky Lu and Liu Shi Shi.

IU plays the leading role int he k-drama version. She's a modern daylady who swiftly travels back in time. In the normal novel, the girl traveled to the court of an emperor of the Qing Dynasty. In the k-drama edition she returns to the Korean Goryeo Dynasty. She reveals herself in the frame of a nobleman's daughter and her sister in that generation lives at the royal court. So, IU has the opportunity to fulfill several princes. There are a couple of and more than one is desperate to take over the throne.

Lee Jun Ki plays one of the ones princes, the fourth son of Wangeon, destined to turn into Goryeo's fourth emperor Gwangjong.

Seohyun plays Princess Woo Hee. She is the ultimate princess of the Later Baekje Kingdom and she who becomes gisaeng or courtesan after the Baekje kingdom Falls.

Seohyun has expanded her acting resume lately. Seohyun and fellow Women Generation member Taeyeon dubbed the Korean versions of the animated movies "Despicable Me" and "Despicable Me 2." She made her drama debut in the 2013 SBS drama "Passionate Love," gambling a supporting role. Then she attempted a few musicals, acting in "Moon Embracing The Sun" and the Korean level adaptation of "Gone With The Wind."

Seohyun also played the 2d one lead role in the Chinese movie "So I Married My Anti-Fan," with every other EXO member Chanyeol. Her personalityused to be an idol trainee who had a weigh down on Chanyeol's character. "Moon Lovers" will make two projects she has co-starred in with an EXO member.

"Moon Lover" is being utterly produced prior to its air date in the momentpart of 2016, as it is going to exist aired simultaneously in Korea and China. "Moon Lovers" is the primary k-drama to acquire an investment from the yank entertainment corporate Universal Studios.

The upcoming "female friends" special episode of "1 Night 2 Days" will have some top female stars as guests, including comedian Kim Sook,Girl"s Day"s Minah, Park Bo Young, Moon Geun Young, Lee Jung Hyun,and Koyote"s Shinji!

A rep from the broadcast station disclosed the info, revealing, "For this special, the members have each invited a female friend for a traveling concept."

The episode is said to air in the middle of this month! It definitely looks like it"ll be an entertaining episode to see the male cast members get excited about the pretty women joining the all-male cast!

And as a sneak preview photo, Shinji shared a photo of herself and Cha Tae Hyun on her Instagram while filming for the episode.

ZE:A's leader Moon Junyoung, who halted his activities after the publicized Twitter controversy in 2014, has made comeback to work with his appearance on the latest episode of SBS's entertainment show "Running Man."  The idol was joined by fellow group members Kwanghee, Dongjun, Hyungsik, Taehun, and Heechul, as well as Shinhwa.

When Moon Junyoung first appeared, “Running Man” member HaHa shouted, “Ah! That SNS (social networking site)!” while Lee Kwang Soo said, “Oh, you are him. I’ve wanted to meet you.” MC Yoo Jae Suk also jokingly added, “Ah, this is that guy? The one that’s extremely famous.”

To their surprised reaction, Moon Junyoung replied, “That ended well, so now I’m back to work,” which drew laughters from the cast.

Previously, Moon Junyoung posted a series of tweets on his personal Twitter targeting his agency, Star Empire. He went on a brief hiatus after the issue was resolved between the two parties.

tvN"s "Misaeng" cast members revealed that they will be donating their appearance fees from the variety show "Taxi" to "World Embracing Youth", a non-profit organization that provides hope for students through the arts.

Twelve "Misaeng" cast members, including ZE:A"sSiwan, Lee Sung Min, Kang So Ra, Kang Ha Neul, Kim Dae Myung, and Byun Yo Han whowere the featured guests on the January 2nd and 3rd New Year special episodes of "Taxi", promised to donate their appearance fees to the non-profit organization, garnering much attention.

On "Taxi", the cast of "Misaeng" talked about their ideal types and behind-the-scenes stories from the drama, and Kang So Ra also revealed her secret to maintaining her slim figure.

Moon Hee Jun and Yun Jun Sang will appear on "Real Man" New Recruit special episode.

A rep from MBC said that Moon Hee Jun and Yun Jun Sang have been confirmed as the new members for the New Recruit special which will later follow the Female Soldier special episode which is currently airing.

Choi Min Geun PD said the New Recruit special episode will feature 4 - 5 new members. The filming will start on September 28th.

Regarding the infor about the departure of some fixed members include Kim Soo Ro,Seo Kyung Suk, Sam Hammington, the PD said nothing has been decided and they will release statement about it later when everything is confirmed.

After School and Orange Caramel member Lizzy will be making her big screen debut through the upcoming movie “Today’s Love.”

According to a movie industry official on August 1, Lizzy has confirmed her casting in the movie “Today’s Love,” and recently joined the rest of the cast and crew on set.

The movie’s cast lineup consists of actor and singer Lee Seung Gi, actress Moon Chae Won, former announcer Park Eun Ji, as well as former T-ara member Hwayoung.

It has been reported that Lizzy will be taking on the role of Min Ah, a bright and charming character that will breathe life into the movie’s storyline.

Previously, the After School member has displayed her acting through sitcoms and dramas, such as “All My Love,” and “Rascal Sons,” however, this will be her first time appearing on the big screen with Todays Love.

Lee Seung Gi and Moon Chae Won have been cast as leads in the upcoming romance film "Today"s Love".

The two actors will be working together again after co-starring in the 2009 drama "Brilliant Legacy". "Today"s Love" is Moon Chae Won"s return to the big screen after "War of Arrows" in 2011 as well as Lee Seung Gi"s film debut. Lee Seung Gi will be playing the role of Junsu who is generally unsuccessful in relationships because he doesn"t know when to stop giving, while Moon Chae Won will play a weather woman who"s both sharp and aggressive.

He commented, "What drew me in is the everyday story, and I like this kind of genre. I"m also a fan of director Park Jin Pyo, so I"m happy for this opportunity to work with him. It"s my first movie role so I feel pressure, but I will approach it from a learner"s point of view." The leading lady also said, "I like that the story is something that people could experience in real life. It"s both fun and realistic."

Actor Lee Joong Moon will be returning to the new SBS morning drama "Chungdamdong Scandal" and will be coming back to the TV Screen.

"Chungdamdong Scandal" is about the ugly sides of the upper class society and the secret parts of Chungdamdong. Lee Joong Moon plays the male protagonist role of Suh Joon.

In the drama, Suh Joon is an interior designer and has trauma from the past but is also a romantist that doesn"t lose her smile and warm heart. Lee Joong Moon uses his unique warm heart and female-inticing charisma.

Lee Joong Moon has been in multiple dramas for eleven years and has shown stable acting in musicals and dramas and other pieces.

In the movie "Couple Ring" last December, Lee Joong Moon started to resume his acting and is now playing the main role in "Chungdamdong Scandal."

Lee Joong Moon"s management company representative said, "Lee Joong Moon has a lot of passion about "Chungdamdong Scandal" which is the first piece he is acting in after his military service. He is personable and humanitarian and shows his own character, as he is differen from other characters that he had played before."

Meanwhile, "Chungdamdong Scandal" will be broadcast in July after "My Only One" that is currently broadcast.

Moon Chae Won has been cast as Joo Won′s costar in the upcoming KBS2 drama Green Scalpel.

The actress will be appearing in her first doctor role as the main lead Cha Yoon Seo. The role will also be her first in seven months since Nice Guy.

Cha Yoon Seo is a fellow pediatric surgeon with a strong sense of duty and faith. She entered Korea′s best medical school as the second best of her class, and quickly became a full-time doctor with her talent. She never hesitates to speak up in front of her bosses.

Moon Chae Won will be acting alongside Joo Won, a warm resident doctor, and Joo Sang Wook, a charismatic and talented assistant professor, in a love triangle.

Moon Chae Won said about her role, "I could feel how the writer wanted to convey a kind of humane warmth and hope. I was also curious on what doctors feel and think as they meet with patients nonstop every day. That′s why Green Scalpel seemed so special to me."

Green Scalpel is about how a doctor with Savant Syndrome becomes a pediatric surgeon. It will start airing in August in the time slot of Shark.
