‘Taxi Driver’ tops box office, breaks records set by hit films ‘Veteran’ and ‘Assassination’ in 3 days

New film ‘Taxi Driver’ starring Song Kang Ho, Yoo Hae Jin, and Ryu Joon Yeol is dominating the box office. 

According to KOFIC (Korean Film Council), ‘Taxi Driver’ released in theaters on August 2 surpassed 1 million moviegoers on the second day of release and 2 million on the third day. As of August 4 7:30 pm KST, ‘Taxi Driver’ has attracted a total of 2,001,482 moviegoers.

‘Taxi Driver’ an audience of 2 million a day faster than the hit films ‘Veteran’ and ‘Assassination’. The film continues to snatch #1 in numerous theaters across the nation. The film is also showered with positive reviews, recording 9.35 stars out of 10 on Naver Movie.
