On June 7th an article regarding the third round on the MTV Italy Awards 2013 appeared on the optimagazine website.
After informing that the singer Marco Mengoni managed to defeat a strong rival like Justin Bieber thanks to his fandom, the Esercito, who had fought with perseverance, it says to pay attention to Super Junior. Why? Because its fans have a strategy for winning in the round and bringing the group to the final.
Due to an anonimous comment on a previous article on the same website, the author affirms that the Super Junior fans have a strategy and shows it : during the second round (Super Junior against Laura Pausini) the group had the victory in their hands so some pages and fans commented on the mtv website and social networks, such as facebook and twitter, to vote for Marco Mengoni in the challenge against Justin Bieber. This because they had studied their enemies and had deduced that Marco Mengoni was an easy rival, weaker than the American pop-star. Moreover Super Junior can count on the support of all the foreign fans instead of just on the Italians.
Many Italian K-Pop fans were quite angry at this article because it generalizes on what had happened, seeming a critics on their (and foreign fans) behaviour. They guarantee that not everyone did these things, instead, who voted against Bieber were the minority of the fans. Moreover they are hoping for a good competition without negative nor mean comment on their idols for the round against Mengoni.
