So Ji Sub and Son Ye Jin will be working together for the upcoming Korean movie remake of ‘Be With You’, a Japanese novel by Takuji Ichikawa. The novel is known for being remade into a Japanese film in 2004.

The story revolves around a man named Woo Jin, whose deceased wife leaves him the promise that she will be back to meet him and their son on a rainy day a year after her death. Miraculously, a year later, Woo Jin reunites with his wife Soo Ah, but she has lost all of her memories. Woo Jin will be played by So Ji Sub, Soo Ah will be played by Son Ye Jin, while child actor Kim Ji Hwan will play their son, Ji Ho.
‘Produce 101’ season 2’s Lee Yoo Jin has also been cast as the high school version of So Ji Sub’s character, opposite actress Kim Hyun Soo as the high school version of Son Ye Jin.
