SM Entertainment Reveals Animated Poster for Upcoming Concert Featuring TVXQ, Super Junior, Girls’ Generation, and SHINee
Following the sucess of SHINee's Tokyo Dome concerts held on March 14th and 15th, SM Entertainment is planning on organizing another concert, placing four of its artists on the Tokyo Dome stage.
SM Entertainment is the only Korean agency that has filled the seats of Tokyo Dome through concerts by four separate groups- TVXQ, Super Junior, Girls’ Generation, and SHINee. To mark this achievement, the entertainment company released an image on March 16 which shows which of their groups performed at which domes with their own concerts in the past six months, not through a agency wide concert, namely SMTOWN. The image shows that TVXQ performed at five domes- Fukuoka, Osaka, Nagoya, Tokyo, and Sapporo. Super Junior performed at Fukuoka, Osaka, and Tokyo. Girls’ Generation and SHINee have each performed at Tokyo Dome.
SM Entertainment takes pride in this achievement because a “dome concert” is the golden standard of artists performing in Japan. A sold-out dome concert means you have filled around 50,000 seats at one time, a considerable number.
On SHINee’s entrance into the list of Tokyo Dome artists, Universal Music Japan’s CEO, Taku Nakamura, commented, “SHINee’s ability to fill 50,000 seats at once, a difficult feat even for Japanese artists, proves the group’s popularity in Japan. The reason why SHINee is accepted in Japan is because of their vocal skills, dance performance, and individual characters.”
Congratulations to TVXQ, Super Junior, Girls’ Generation, and SHINee!
The cast of the musical "AGATHA" showcased their teamwork on the January 31 broadcast of KBS 2TV"s "Entertainment Relay"!
The reporter asked Joo Jong Hyuk (Ryan from Paran), "When I watched you on "Road King", you [seemed to] have a positive mindset and be cheerful, but you said, "Sorry," a lot," to which Joo Jong Hyuk joked, "To be honest, I"m a fan of Super Junior," and sang and danced along to Super Junior"s "Sorry, Sorry".
When asked if Super Junior is on a world tour, Ryeowook recalled his group"s previous interview with "Entertainment Relay", sharing, "To be honest, when I came on as Super Junior [last time], I hardly said anything and stayed quiet. It"s not that I try to keep the mystery, but my members talk too much. I"m a hidden gem."
When Choi Jung Won was asked if there was anyone who was different from her first impression, she chose Ryeowook, saying, "I didn"t know Ryeowook was this age . I thought he was only 19 or 20 years old. I was surprised. I listened to him on radio, and his voice gets the message across well. I only thought of him as our nation"s top idol who sings and dances well, but he is one of the hoobaes who I"ve started to see as an actor."
"AGATHA" will open its curtains at Hongik Art Center, Seoul on February 11!
