Girls’ Generation Seohyun Ranked Number 1 for ‘Most Innocent’

Girls Generation, Seohyun Girls' Generation Seohyun Ranked Number 1 for 'Most Innocent' Girls' Generation Seohyun was chosen as number 1 for the most innocent idol.  From August 26 to May 8, they held a survey in Gangnam to choose who they thought was stylish and dignified and innocent. Seohyun won the number 1 spot on that list. Aside from Seohyun, 2NE1 Dara and SISTAR Dasom were also chosen as well. Seohyun had also posted innocent and lovely self-cam pictures online recently as well and gained much attention

KBS Music Bank 05.10.13 – Cho Yong Pil’s Second Win with “Hello”

The winner of K! Chart this week was the cool Cho Yong Pil with his song “Hello” beating SHINee‘s “Why So Serious.” This was his second time winning K! Chart with the song. Congratulations Cho Yong Pil! Today’s show was a Chungbuk Osong Special. KBS’ “Music Bank” held their ‘K-Pop Festival‘ special tonight, and aside from the usual on tonight’s episode, Nine Muses and B1A4 held their comeback stages. Competing for the #1 spot, it was a hot battle between Cho Yong Pil and SHINee, but in the end, it was Cho Yong Pil who clinched the win tonight with “Bounce“! Orange Caramel & 10cm release “Hug Me” remake for ‘re;code’ project

Orange Caramel and 10cm have joined efforts for the ongoing project album ‘re;code‘! Their collaborative single is actually a remake of 10cm’s “Hug Me“, but with a fresh spin with the added vocals of the ladies. The ‘re;code’ project album has so far featured Geeks and SISTAR‘s Soyu‘s “Officially Missing You, Too“,INFINITE‘s Woohyun and Lucia‘s “Cactus“, and Daybreak and Sunny Hill‘s “Love Actually“, and now joining the list are the two above mentioned stars

SISTAR’s Hyorin and Soyu spill tears reflecting on their time in Africa

SISTAR‘s Hyorin and Soyu couldn’t help but spill their tears during the press conference for SBS‘s ‘2013 HopeTV‘ Both girls attended the press conference, held on May 8 at the Seoul SBS Prism Tower. Hyorin and Soyu had traveled to Africa through the program to help conduct charity work in Liberia from March 21 -28. The 4,000 residents of the village in Monrovia were found to make gravel for a living and children as young as 4 would endure extremely strenuous labor all day earning 500-1000 won (~$1 USD)

SISTAR’s Hyorin tears up during press conference for ‘HopeTV’

SISTAR‘s Hyorin spilled tears reflecting on her trip to Africa. SBS‘ ‘HopeTV‘ held their press conference at the SBS Prism Tower in Seoul on the 8th, and among those in attendance were actor Jo Min Soo, Kim Ah Joong, Kim Kang Woo, and SISTAR’s Hyorin and Soyu. The stars previously teamed up with the program and the Miral Welfare Foundation to conduct charity work in Liberia to help those in need. During the press conference, a video clip of the children in the village they traveled to were shown, and the idols had a tough time holding back the tears as they narrated for the clip

SISTAR’s Hyolyn Cries for Kids in Africa

Usually appearing tough and fearless, SISTAR’s Hyolyn shed tears while reflecting on her volunteer experiences in Africa. On May 8, Hyolyn and Soyou participated in a production presentation for SBS’ 2013 Hope TV, where they talked about their experiences while volunteering in Liberia.Hyolyn and Soyou talked about one particular 4-year old girl, who was suffering from starvation, yet working hard to transport rocks so she and her family could survive. Hyolyn expressed her sadness, only finding out about the situation in Liberia now

SHINee’s Taemin Chosen as Most Filial Idol

It’s Parent’s Day (May 8) in Korea and the netizens have chosen SHINee’s Taemin as the Most filial idol. From April 30 to May 7, online community, DC Inside held a survey titled, ‘Which idol is the best filial-dol to his/her parents?’ The idol that came out first was none other than Taemin. Taemin took 37.2 percent or 141,257 out of 379,633 votes. It’s assumed that Taemin came out at the top with the help of what he said on a variety show about how he bought his parents a house in Chungdahm-dong as well as a foreign car, despite still being in his teens
