At the press conference for the upcoming MBC drama ‘Bleak Night’, Key shared, “At first, my agency asked me what I wanted to do about my name. Although a lot of people change their names, I thought I wanted to bring everything I’ve done as SHINee’s Key with me.”
He continued, “Everything I’ve worked on is as SHINee’s Key, so I didn’t think I had to change that. People who call me Kibum call me Kibum anyway. I didn’t feel it meant a lot to change it, and I thought it would be better to use a name that many people know me by.”
‘Bleak Night’ premieres on May 22 KST. Do you plan on watching?
