Shin Min Ah And Lee Sun Kyun Find Love Is Infectious In 'Love Is A Virus'

Shin Min Ah And Lee Sun Kyun Find Love Is Infectious In 'Love Is A Virus'

Shin Min Ah Lee Sun Gyun

Falling in love can be painful but it"s an affliction that usually heals over time. That"s not the case in the upcoming romantic comedy film "Love is a Virus."

In the film "Love Is A Virus" the symptoms of love are actually caused by a virus. Once people are infected, the victims of this virus feel exactly as if they are falling in love. They display all the symptoms of being in love. They can"t focus. They lose their appetite. They are apt to daydream and obsess. But if they don"t find an actual person to fall in love with, the virus soon proves deadly. And they only have five days to fall in love.

Falling in love can happen easily but it rarely observes deadlines, no matter how deadly they are.

Shin Min Ah, who played Lee Seung Gi"s gumiho girlfriend in "My Girlfriend Is A Nine-Tailed Fox," will play a character that spreads the virus. Lee Sun Kyun plays a scientist who is developing a vaccine to protect people from the effects of the virus. Given that this is a romantic comedy, the two will probably fall in love with each other. But will one of them fall prey to the virus?

Shin Min Ah has appeared in several dramas, including "The Devil" and "Arang and the Magistrate," but she is also known for her film roles. She played Ju Ji Hoon"s straying wife in "The Naked Kitchen" and Jo Jung Suk"s newlywed wife in "My Love, My Bride."

Lee Sun Kyun has succeeded at a variety of roles, appearing in everything from action films to romantic comedies. He is best known for his role as Gong Yoo"s dogwalking cousin in "Coffee Prince," his role as Gong Hyo Jin"s abrasive chef boss in "Pasta" and his most recent role in as Lee Yeon Hee"s ardent supporter in "Miss Korea." He never worked with Shin Min Ah before although his wife, actress Jeon Hye Jin did work with her in "The Naked Kitchen."

Reportedly Shin Min Ah was really eager to work with Lee Sun Kyun, as she admired his work in such romantic comedies as "Pasta" and "All About My Wife."

The film begins shooting in March with a release date expected in 2015.

Kang Yi Kwan, who directed "Juvenile Offender," will direct the film.
