It is not uncommon for celebrity accounts to fall prey to hacking and former 2NE1 member Sandara Park was the latest to fall victim to the unscrupulous act. The “One Step” star recently posted on her Instagram a screenshot of the failed attempt to hack into her account.
According to Koreaboo, Sandara posted a screenshot of her Instagram handle which denied her from entering her account. This often happens to a social media account when another party is trying to use the account for another purpose.
After recovering her account, Sandara posted an appeal on her Instagram by captioning the post “Please respect my privacy.” The former 2NE1 member is currently one of the most followed female Korean celebrities on social media with the 5.7 million followers. Sandara is also one of the most active celebrities on social media, often connecting with her fans and updating them on her projects and whereabouts using Instagram, Twitter, and even maintaining a Line Diary to share her thoughts.
Sandara currently has a jam packed schedule as she is working on the filming of her second movie “Cheese in the Trap” where she will play the role of Jang Bora, the cute and bubby best friend of lead character Hong Seol. She immediately booked the project following the success of her first movie “One Step” in which she starred as an amnesiac who is uncannily able to see sounds through color.
The former 2NE1 member is also set to launch her own clothing line of Dara inspired T-shirts, caps and other accessories. The clothing line will bear her signature palm tree doodle which is inspired by her signature 2NE1 hairstyle. Sandara is also set to launch her own youtube channel but unfortunately, this will be pushed back because of scheduling constraints, Kpopstarz reported.
