It’s business as usual for former 2NE1 member and “One Step” star Sandara Park after her harrowing encounter with a hacker who was trying to get to her Instagram account. The star recently posted a snap of herself on her taping chair as she filmed for her latest movie “Cheese in the Trap.”
Sandara Park shared a photo of herself as she took a break from filming on her very own taping chair. She seemed to be in good spirits on set as she was protected from the sun by a giant umbrella bearing her name.
While it may seem that the newly minted actress was back to normal, her Line Diary entry bore her thoughts on the recent attempt to hack into her Instagram. In Sandara’s post translated by a fan on Twitter, she recounted the harrowing experience and shared how scared she was off having her privacy invaded in such a way.
According to Sandara, she was alerted to the fact that someone was trying to hack into her account when she was prompted by Instagram that her password has changed. She said that she tried to access her account again with the same result. She said that she was surprised when she opened her email to see that there were multiple messages of failed logins on her account with the very last message informing her that her password has changed.
Sandara shared that she doesn’t typically check her email every day, and this may be the reason that the hackers were able to get into her account. She said she was able to recover her account @daraxxi which is followed by 5.8 million users, with the help of some friends who assisted her in getting in touch with Instagram’s US headquarters.
“I don’t want to go through that again. Even if it was someone’s prank, it drains my energy so much and it’s very scary, ” she said. Sandara has since taken down the screenshot of the hacking try on her Instagram and is now concentrating on moving on from the incident.
