Gangnam Style Star Hyuna, 4minute on SNL Korea 'School Uniforms and Sexy Comedy' Hyun A, 4Minute on SNL Korea ‘School Uniforms and Sexy Comedy’International sexy star, Hyuna, from the music video of "Gangnam Style" will host Saturday Night Live Korea on April 27 along with the members of 4Minute.

Famous for rated-R comedy, this week's episode of SNL Korea is expected to even go farther than it has before.

Hyun A has always embraced her sexy image, putting on successful track records with "Troublemaker" and "Bubble Pop" both of which were not exactly family friendly due to its sexual contents in music videos as well as its promiscuous lyrics. She may have just found the perfect stage for her to showcase her sexiness--this time, through a medium of comedy.

A staff member from SNL Korea revealed that Hyun A is a huge fan of SNL Korea. "She has watched nearly all of the episodes. Even though 4Minute is extremely tight on schedule since they have a lot on their plate after making a comeback with the new album, they insisted on making this show happen. They are very excited" he added.

After a one-year hiatus, 4Minute has just come back with their new album, My Name is 4Minute, and title song, "What Is Your Name?" They begin their official performances today, April 26.

Yet there was a time when even his manager Scooter Braun didn't believe that Psy could ever recreate the success of "Gangnam Style"--the most watched YouTube clip in history, seeing him as more of a one-hit wonder.

"When Scooter Braun first contacted me, he was not interested in who I was as an artist," Psy said Monday on the South Korean radio show, "Bae Chul-soo's Music Camp."

"He wanted to buy my copyright to 'Gangnam Style' so that he could mix it up and have Justin Bieber sing it."

Psy decided that he and Braun should discuss the matter in person, so he hopped a plane to the U.S. to meet with his future manager.

"It was during my flight that Scooter Braun got to see one of my concert clips," Psy said. "He wanted to know whether I can speak English and, if so, he wanted to sign a contract with me."

Braun became Psy's manager, "Gangnam Style" became an international juggernaut and the rest, as they say, is history.

And about that talk of him being a one-hit wonder?

Psy's video for "Gentleman" has already broken YouTube records for a second time, after it was watched 50 million times in the first 24 hours it was online.

"Gentleman" decimated the previous record for most views in a single day held by the video for Justin Bieber's "Boyfriend" which got a mere 8 million views.

Hot on the heels of the smash hit follow-up to "Gangnam Style," Psy will again be flying to the U.S., to begin a promotional tour starting on Thursday.

Only this time, with Braun in his corner and the world at his feet, we're guessing he's flying first class.

Psy's 'Assarabia' Controversy Raises Issues About His Next Single: Can K-Pop's Biggest Star Duplicate His 'Gangnam Style' Success? "Not sure how this will go over in the Middle East," Steve Herman, chief of Voice of America's Northeast Asia bureau tweeted on March 17, following an announcement by Psy that people were having difficulty pronouncing his new single "Assarabia," according to NBC News.

Later that Herman wrote on Twitter that Psy had direct messaged him about the "Assarabia" controversy.

"It's Korean slang should be spelled assaraViathat's not gonna be a single anyway, so u don't have to worry...THX for ya regard :)" Psy wrote, according to Herman.

Since the letter 'v' doesn't have an equivalent in the Korean alphabet the now apparently shelved single could have led to pronunciation confusion or worse.

The following day Psy announced he was changing both the name and the title of "Assaravia," a word that indicates excitement in Korean.

He didn't say why, but a spokesman for his record label YG Entertainment told the Wall Street Journal it was because the possible "Gangnam Style" follow-up was difficult to pronounce.

Time Magazine reported on March 8 that Psy's next single is due out on April 13, the same day as the star's "Happening" at the Seoul World Cup Stadium, raising questions about exactly what that single will be.

Back in October, Psy spoke to the BBC about the difficulty of duplicating the success "Gangnam Style" had.

"The second single is going to be in English and the thing is, it's too much pressure to overcome 'Gangnam Style.' It's really hard," said the 34-year-old superstar. "The problem is, my music video is more popular than I am,"

Earlier this month Psy became the first Asian artist to have a million-selling single in the UK, according to Official Charts.

"This is an amazing achievement by Psy," said Martin Talbot, managing director of the Official Charts Company. "It is further confirmation of 'Gangnam Style' as a true phenomenon. It is the first UK million-seller by an Asian music star, and a sign that K-Pop has truly arrived in the UK!"

'Gangnam Style' star to ignore plagiarism charges

'Gangnam Style' star to ignore plagiarism charges

Psy will not act on any allegation that his hit song "Gangnam Style" is a work of plagiarism, said an official affiliated with the star according to local media reports yesterday.

A local composer argued that the global hit released in July plagiarized one of his pieces and filed a lawsuit at a local court in October asking for more than 100 million won ($91,000) in compensation.

However, the official said that the song is not similar to "Gangnam Style", made by Psy and composer Yu Gun-hyung.

"There is absolutely no need to respond to this lawsuit", he said. "Anyone who has listened to 'Gangnam Style' and the song the composer made will know easily that this is not plagiarism".

There are some other allegations as well, all of which the official discounted.

"We think all these people are trying to free ride on the popularity of 'Gangnam Style', so we believe not taking any action would be the smartest move", the official explained.
