On the evening of August 4, Psy successfully held his much-anticipated ‘SUMMER SWAG’ concert at Seoul Jamsil Stadium. This is his first summer concert series since 2012.
Approximately 25,000 people attended the special event as they were showered with buckets of ice cold water to beat the heat. Psy kicked off ‘SUMMER SWAG’ back in Busan at Busan Asiad Auxiliary Ground on July 29. After holding his first concert at Seoul Jamsil Stadium on August 4, Psy is looking to entertain his guests with another concert at the same venue on August 5. A total of 50,000 people are expected to attend both dates.
First established in 2011 and 2012, ‘SUMMER SWAG’ is Psy’s signature summer concert. A total of 150 tons of water was used, in addition to 1,600 LED tiles, and 1,500 rounds of pyrotechnics were prepared for an even more spectacular show. The main stage was specially created to be 80 meters long (~263 feet), making it one of the biggest stages for a Psy concert.
