'Produce 101' Trainee Ha Min Ho Booted Out Of Mnet Show, The Vibe Label Amid Sexual Harrassment Allegations
“Produce 101” Season 2 trainee Ha Min Ho has been booted out of the show and by his label after allegations surfaced that the aspiring artist engaged in sexual harassment and bullying. His agency The Vibe Label explained their decision to terminate Ha Min Ho’s contract.
According to a report by All Kpop, The Vibe Label decided to terminate the contract after reviewing the allegations hurled against the “Produce 101” Season 2 trainee. The label also apologized to everyone affected by Ha Min Ho’s actions.
“THEVIBE LABEL will do our best to make sure another accident like this doesn’t happen again and manage our trainees (Kim Tae Dong, Sung Hyun Woo),” The Vibe Label said about the “Produce 101” snafu. “Once again, we apologize to everyone who was hurt because of this.”
It can be recalled that “Produce 101” trainee Ha Min Ho came under fire after a former girlfriend wrote an open letter and spread it online detailing how she was treated by Ha Min Ho while they were dating in middle school. Ha Min Ho’s alleged ex-girlfriend uploaded a series of posts saying she was harassed openly by the “Produce 101” trainee while they were in school and that she was often the subject of his untoward sexual advances. She said that Ha Min Ho was very popular in school and wielded his power to influence and bully people in school and online. She said that she would often hear derogatory words about her from their classmates when they broke up because his demands became too much.
The Twitter user asked Ha Min Ho’s victims to come forward to share their experiences to expose his real personality rather than have “Produce 101” portray him as a person who deserves sympathy. Ha Min Ho recently figured in a major scandal after screenshots of Facebook conversations revealed that he has been messaging some minor fans in an alleged attempt to hook up with them, Soompi reported.
