Jung Yong Hwa Clears Up Dating Rumors with Park Shin Hye and Seohyun When you’re as handsome, talented and successful as Jung Yong Hwa, there is bound to be a handful of rumors surrounding you, especially regarding girls!

The CNBLUE leader took time to clear up some of those rumors involving himself and popular actress Park Shin Hye and Girls’ Generation‘s Seohyun on the latest broadcast of “Radio Star.”

Jung Yong Hwa explained, “Park Shin Hye is just a friend. She comes to our concerts a lot too. In the past, she came to one of our concerts and my mother was there too.”

He continued, “She and my mother exchanged greetings but people started to think that she was close with my parents. I am close with Park Shin Hye but because of all of those rumors, I can’t even make our friendship noticeable.”

When the MCs mentioned Park Shin Hye and Lee Min Ho‘s kiss scene from “The Heirs,” they asked Jung Yong Hwa how he felt when he saw it. The CNBLUE member answered, “Honestly, I didn’t watch all of that drama.”

Jung Yong Hwa also cleared up rumors surrounding his “We Got Married” ex-virtual wife, Seohyun.

The MCs asked, “Dating rumors emerged while you were in a virtual marriage with Seohyun. There was talk that you two even lived in the same villa. Is that true?”

Jung Yong Hwa answered, “It is the same villa community but we live in different buildings. We are not dating.”

He also admitted that the rumor of him getting into Seohyun’s van was true. But he explained that their license plate numbers were very similar, which is why he mistook Girls’ Generation’s van as his own.

But the MCs stayed true to the “Radio Star” style and persistently asked, “Don’t you like the Seohyun-type of girls?” Jung Yong Hwa then answered, “It’s not like that. Although I’d be lying if I said I had no feelings at all, I was just trying my best for the broadcast. There were a lot of eyes on us at that time.

Meanwhile, Jung Yong Hwa shared many stories such as a girl group member giving him her number and the reason behind him turning down Kim Woo Bin’s role in “The Heirs.”

[Poll] Yoon Eun Hye & Jung Yong Hwa vs. Park Shin Hye & Kim Woo Bin: The Battle of the Convenience Store Date

News via

[Poll] Yoon Eun HyeJung Yong Hwa vs. Park Shin HyeKim Woo Bin: The Battle of the Convenience Store DateCoincidence? Maybe. Perfect timing? YES. Let the battle begin.

Yesterday, Kim Woo Bin made headlines twice, first for making lovey dovey eyes at his real life girlfriend Yoo Ji Ahn, and again for using those same eyes to shoot lasers at Park Shin Hye in stills for SBS upcoming drama The Heirs. The latter took place in front of a convenience store, a staple of Seouls city life, where beers, coffee, ice cream, and ramen are shared between friends and, apparently, future subjects of complicated love triangles.

Today, stills of love triangle candidates Yoon Eun Hye and Jung Yong Hwa from the upcoming KBS drama Future Choice have been released, which show the two on a moonlight date in front of a convenience store somewhere in Seoul. In this scene Yoon Eun Hyes character, Mi Rae, is confiding to Jung Yong Hwas character, Park Se Joo, about her bitter life.

Considering that the role that Jung Yong Hwa was offered for his former casting in the The Heirs was probably Kim Woo Bins role now, it is fun to see these two similar scenes side by side and imagine the possibilities.

In “The Heirs,” Kim Woo Bin plays an heir to a resort with an IQ of 150 and something that every K-drama lead has these day- charisma. In “Future Choice,” Jung Yong Hwa also has charisma- the smooth kind as opposed to Kim Woo Bins cold oned- and is an undercover boss with a secret. How will these two characters differ, and how will each characters love triangle develop? Its going to very busy for the next few months for K-drama fans.

CNBLUE's Jung Yong Hwa must really like acting with Park Shin Hye. Hejust signed on to act with her in their third drama, "The Heirs," alsostarring Lee Min Ho.

In "You're Beautiful," he was Shin Woo, the guy who did not get thegirl, who was played by Park. In "Heartstrings," he did get the girl, played by Park. But don't expect that to happen again. Although littleis yet known about the exact storyline, in the new SBS drama, it'slikely that his competition will be Lee Min Ho.

In recent interview, she stated that she was "so glad to have a chance to work with writer Kim Eun Sook."

Kim is known for her work in "Secret Garden, "A Gentleman's Dignity,""Lovers in Paris" and "On Air." "Secret Garden" became a hit not onlyin Korea but internationally.

All three actors have expressed their enthusiasm about working with the well-respected writer.

The casting of such young actors in the starring roles show that thedrama is expected to have a different, more youthful focus than "AGentleman's Dignity," the last drama Kim wrote. "A Gentleman's Dignity"was about four men in their 40s.

"The Heirs" will air later in 2013.
