Go Ara, Park Seo Joon and ZE:A's Park Hyung Sik have taken the lead roles in the KBS drama about the hwarang or flower boy knights of Silla, one of Korea's ancient kingdoms. The Silla kingdom lasted from 57 B.C. to 935 A.D.
The Hwarang or Flowering Knights were a collection of wellborn young Silla men known for either their attractiveness and skill. Some more makeup and ornaments. Many played musical instruments. Whilst the hwarang were the flower boys in their time, they were also talented opponents known for their swordsmanship. Some historians consider that they also on occasion took phase in shamanistic rituals.
The knights referred to as Hwarang had to practice five commandments. They had to be unswerving to the king, honor their parents., be loyal friends, be courageous in combatyet they also had to prepare chivalry in warfare. That supposedthey mightno longer kill somebodyonly for the sake of it.
Park Seo Joon will play one of the most flower boy knights is known as Sun Woo Rang. Sun Woo Rang is an strange knight because he used to benow not a nobleman by way of birth. He joins the ranks because he possesses remarkableabilities every bit a warrior.
