Lady Gaga & Psy to join 2NE1 & Big Bang at South Korea Festival!



Lady Gaga and Psy will be joining 2NE1 and Big Bang on a summer music festival in South Korea.
The South Korea Festival will be held at Seoul's Olympic stadium from August 15 to 16, 2014. This event will feature the big names in K-Pop and their ironic anticipated unexpected great performances will be showcased. Lady Gaga will perform on the second day of the festival.
On Lady Gaga's first concert in South Korea in April 2012, many religious groups voiced out that they wanted her show to be cancelled as they believed that she was promoting homosexuality and pornography. As a result, only 18 years old and older were allowed to watch her concert.
As to the question if her performance on the festival will be banned just like what happened in 2012, a spokeswoman for the state rating board said, "We don't know yet the contents and details of her performance for the festival, so it will be too early to decide

In a Korea Times feature about the current state of Girls" Generation, some Korean music industry insiders suggest that the famed girl group is nearing disbandment.

Despite being regarded as the most popular K-Pop girl group with dedicated fans around the globe, is Girls" Generation on the way out? That is was some Korean music industry professionals seem to think.

In a piece published in the Korea Times last week, it was suggested that the recently revealed relationships and scandals surrounding a few of the band"s members provide evidence that the nine-member K-Pop group is running out of steam.

Girls" Generation is managed by big-time Korean entertainment agency SM Entertainment, a record label notorious for keeping its artists on a tight leash

Kim Hyun Joong revealed his views on love, dating and marriage.

In a recent interview that took place in a café near Samcheong-dong, Kim Hyun Joong shared his thoughts on dating and marriage.

As he is getting close to turning 30, marriage is no longer a strange word to discuss for the actor.

When asked about his marriage plan, Kim Hyun Joong said, “I don’t think I can get married. I would be 35 years old if I finish my duties in the army. I used to think that I must get married but I’m not sure anymore. I don’t think I can commit myself to family because I enjoy work too much. I think I would consider marriage if I face a dilemma with doing dramas and concerts.”

All Weekend Variety Programs Cancelled

Due to the Sewol Ferry tragedy that occurred on April 16, weekend variety programs have been cancelled for April 19 and 20.

KBS, MBC, and SBS announced on April 19, they would be cancelling all variety shows due to the continuance of the sorrow and mourning that is taking place throughout Korea following the Sewol Ferry tragedy.

On April 19, KBS 2TV’s “Immortal Songs,” “Entertainment Weekly,” and “Human Condition” will be cancelled. On MBC, “We Got Married,” and “Infinity Challenge” will be cancelled.” And on SBS, “Star Junior Show Bungeoppang,” and “Star King” will be cancelled. Cultrual program, “I Want to Know It” was originally scheduled to air, but it will be replaced with a news report.

On April 20, KBS 2TV’s “Happy SundaySuperman Returns, 1 Night 2 Days,” “Gag Concert” MBC’s “Section TV Entertainment Relay,” “Sunday NightDaddy, Where Are We Going? Real Men,” and SBS’ “1000 Song Challenge,” and “Good SundayRoommate, Running Man” will be cancelled

Eric recently received an offer to appear in KBS 2TV drama, “Trot Lovers” which is scheduled to air sometime in June following “Big Man.” He is currently reviewing the role and the details of the plot.
