As reported by Soompi, OCN’s “Tunnel” achieved a rating of 5.5 percent, the show’s highest ever. The real-time ratings even peaked at 6.2 percent.
OCN’s “Tunnel” target audience between the ages of 25 and 49 gave the show an average rating 4.8 percent. The show similarly peaked at 5.6 percent within the target audience which made the drama reach the top spot in their time slot.
Furthermore, OCN’s “Tunnel” is mostly patronized by audiences, men, and women in their 40s. The show’s ratings peaked at 6.9 percent and 9.2 percent, respectively.
The first episode of OCN’s “Tunnel” rated only with an average of 2.8 percent. However, because of the show’s frequent plot twist and storyline, “Tunnel” has been steadily achieving high ratings as the show progressed.
OCN’s “Tunnel” is also in its way of beating OCN’s previous show “Voice”. “Voice” achieved 5.69 percent rating – the highest ever for an OCN drama.
If OCN’s “Tunnel” surpasses the previous rating of “Voice”, it will be the third OCN show to achieve such feat. “Tunnel” will then join the ranks of OCN’s highest rating dramas “Voice” and “Squad 38”.
The 13thepisode for OCN’s “Tunnel” was actually pushed back along with the 14thepisode. As previously reported by All Kpop, the show took a 1-week break in the 3rdweek of April.
“Tunnel’s” one-week hiatus was due to the producer’s decision to further improve the show’s quality. The staff added more key scenes to the main sequence – hence the break.
