Following after SBS’ Jang Ok Jung, MBC’s Gu Family Book also reached the top of its numbers with 19.4 percent, the highest the drama has ever been. The result comes from Choi Kang Chi (Lee Seung Gi) unknowingly meeting with his birth mother (Yoon Se Ah), who later finds out that her son is not dead. Also the sweet confession with a back hug from Choi Kang Chi to Dam Yeo Wool (miss A’s Suzy) may have aided the rise in ratings.
