JYJ's Micky Yoochun is gaining in seemingly infinite popularity in China. He was on a chartered flight sent by Hunan TV last Saturday to appear on a special program "Yuan Xiao Jie Live" the following day. Micky has been attracting fans in China with famous dramas such as "Sungkyunkwan Scandal", "The Rooftop Prince" and "Missing You", and he was the first Korean celebrity to be invited to the television program for the full-moon special, the second largest holiday in China. At a press conference with major Chinese media, he said, "I hope to try out for Chinese movies with talented actresses and directors like Tang Wei and Chen Kaige"

JYJ has been picked as the face to represent the 2014 Incheon Asian Games.The Games' committee announced Feb. 19 that the group was picked "to promote the band throughout Asia". The fact that the trio is a major force in Asia was attributed to its selection. "Through JYJ's international following, we hope to make the Games known to some four billion Asians living in the continent", said the organizing committee's President Kim Young-soo.The inauguration ceremony is scheduled in for Feb. 20 at Lotte Hotel in Sogong-dong, central Seoul

On Friday, JYJ's Micky Yoochun was flown to China in a private jet.The move came at the bidding of a Chinese network that wanted Park to take part in a special program celebrating the first full moon of the lunar calendar.CJeS Entertainment said that the program Yuan Xiao Jie Show, starring Park, will air Feb. 24 on Hunan TV.The agency said that because of Park's hectic schedule, the network had to charter a plane if they wanted him on the show."Through the show, we expect that Park will become a well-loved Hallyu actor in China", a spokesperson from Hunan TV told CJeS

Actress Jang Mi-ne is being investigated for illegal drug use.The Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office said yesterday Jang was called in Wednesday night and charged with illegal use of the narcotic propofol.Prosecutors allege that Jang made trips to cosmetic surgery and facial care clinics and opted for surgery so the drug would be prescribed.Authorities confiscated seven medical charts from clinics in Cheongdam-dong, southern Seoul.Meanwhile, Jang claimed she needed the drugs as pain relievers
