During the episode, Lee Hyori found one of her guests crying which caused her to ask if something was wrong and why she was crying. Lee Hyori said, “It’s okay to cry. Crying is good for you because that means the things that have been built up inside is finally coming out.”
The guest said, “I thought I would be happy if I just got into school (she is in her first year of University) but that wasn’t the case. Because I started going to school again after five years, it became really awkward for myself and I didn’t know how to socialize in a group anymore. My self-esteem is really low right now.”
Lee Hyori replied, “My self-esteem used to be low as well. I used to think that people wouldn’t see me as a beautiful or a pretty individual unless I prettied up and focused on my appearances.” To this, the guest agreed that she was experiencing the same thing. Lee Hyori continued,”But that’s because I wasn’t viewing myself as a beautiful person, not because others weren’t looking at me in that light. Look at you, you’re so pretty. You don’t need to worry.”
