Wheesung and Moon Myungjin’s concerts in America have all been cancelled due to visa problems.
Hweesung and Moon Myungjin had been planning to hold a concert in New Jersey, Chicago and Los Angeles in America from the 12th of July until the 19th.
On the 10th of July, Wheesung and Moon Myungjin arrived at the airport to depart for America, however before entering the gates, the artists and performance staff were all denied due to problems involving their P visas (performing visas).
According to YMC Entertainment, the visa was applied for since they had drafted the performance contract, and thus had been waiting for it to be issued to them until the 10th, however it had never been issued.
Thus, YMC Entertainment have announced that they will continue to look in to this issue, despite the fact that it may take a while and may be a very complex and difficult issue.
They also asked fans who may have purchased flight tickets to America to attend the concert to cancel them immediately, and that they will try to make up for any losses these fans may have had to face due to the cancellation of the show by looking further in to the visa problem and finding a solution.
Also, they apologized to all the fans who were anxiously awaiting Wheesung’s and Moon Myungjin’s concert, and expressed that they were also deeply saddened by the fact that the absence of a visa prohibited their opportunity to perform for their fans in America.
They also revealed that once they look more in to the problem, they will notify all those who purchased tickets with information on refunds.
In the contract between YMC Entertainment and the American promotional agency, it reportedly states that the local agency is to take responsibility for any visa problems, and thus YMC Entertainment will be continuously pushing for a solution.
