Kim Chung Ha says performing solo is lonely and hopes to perform in a group someday

On June 7, Kim Chung Ha held a showcase to celebrate the release of her first mini album ‘Hands On Me’ which was airedvia Naver’s ‘V’ Live.

Opening the act with her latest title song “Why Don’t You Know”, Kim Chung Ha commented, “It’s been 4 months since IOI disbanded and I am standing in front of everyone as a solo artist.”

When asked what some of the advantages were in performing solo, Kim Chung Ha said, “Well as a solo artist I am able to focus on presenting my own songs and performances. Also, I get to take naps often.”

On the flip side, she added, “It can be awkward to appear in variety shows alone, not to mention being lonely. I hope to perform in a group someday if given the opportunity.”

Kim Chung Ha wowed the audience by dancing to the instrumental version of “Bang Bang” and took the time to interact with her fans as they celebrated the event with cake.
