On May 18, KBS’s “Entertainment Relay” aired a segment where the program’s crew surprised the members of CNBlue with a special visit to their hotel. When the crew went inside CNBlue’s room, they found all the members resting and Jung Yong Hwa sleeping in bed. When he realized that they had visitors, Jung Yong Hwa woke up with a surprise and started to check his face hurriedly on the camera.  Lee Jong Hyun, of the group CNBlue, recently celebrated his 22nd birthday in Hong Kong. A party was held at the Hong Kong Asia World Expo Arena during CNBlue’s solo concert, 2013 World Tour Blue Moon, on the afternoon of May 11. Lee’s actual birthdate is May 15. The birthday celebration took place during an encore performance of the song “Hey You.” Jung Yong Hwa, the group leader, started to sing “Happy Birthday To You” and about 7,000 Hong Kong fans sang along. Lee Jung Shin and Kang Min Hyuk, other members of the group, brought out a party cake and gave Lee Jong Hyun a bouquet of flowers

CN Blue will be acting as honorary ambassador for Korea Food for the Hungry International (KFHI).On May 8, the band attended the appointment ceremony held in Seoul, and was given a plaque appointing it the honorary ambassador for the organization.Supporters of CN Blue′s school in Africa as well as the press and officials were also present. Recently on May 3, CNBlue’s agency uploaded several photos of Kang Min Hyuk that were taken for the May issue of “Dazed & Confused.” Based on the concept of “Naked Morning,” the photoshoot took place focusing on the lazy beauty of Kang Min Hyuk as he wakes up in the morning. In the first photo is Kang Min Hyuk in the bed as he gazes at the camera sleepily. In the other pictures, he does a normal morning routine, such as drinking coffee and reading a newspaper. In all the photos, Kang Min Hyuk looks deliciously gorgeous with his baby face and sleepy eyes

CNBlue‘s charismatic frontman Jung Yong Hwa and “Untouchable” bassist Lee Jung Shin may seem invincible but they revealed a phobia of airplanes. During the fan meeting in Tokyo that doubled as the release event for CNBlue’s fifth major Japan single “Blind Love” held on April 26, the band came out with an impromptu and self-composed song which spoke of these fears. “This ballad expresses our feelings of fear every time the plane shakes,” Lee Jung Shin said

The fifth Japanese EP by CNblue (Jung Yong Hwa, Lee Jong Hyun, Kang Min Hyuk, and Lee Jung Shin) has ranked second on the Oricon Chart. After being released on April 24, CNblue’s fifth EP, Blind Love, sold 35,773 copies on the same day, taking second place on the Oricon Daily Chart of April 25. The first place went to Kanjani8, who sold 177,764 copies of their album on same day. The title song of this EP, “Blind Love,” was written by a member of CNblue, Lee Jong Hyun. The song describes a man’s love for an ex-girlfriend whom he cannot forget

CN Blue held its successful first exclusive concert in Singapore.The second performance of the 2013 CN Blue World Tour - Blue Moon was held on April 13 in Singapore.The band, which appeared onstage amidst blue lights, immediately started off on a string of powerful songs such as Where You Are, Get Away and One Time, getting the 6,500 fans in the venue to jump along with them. Whenever songs from the band′s most recent album Re:Blue, which is also highly popular in the country, started playing, the audience would sing along at the top of their lungs
