JYP Entertainment will be moving to a bigger, better office thanks to the growing success of TWICE.
In 2015, TWICE debuted with Cheer Up and worked their way up with their chart-topping songs, TT and Knock Knock, and now with Signal. In 2017 alone, JYP Entertainment raked in ₩21.9 billion KRW (approximately $19.4 million USD) in sales and ₩3.8 billion KRW ($3.4 million USD) in business profits.
Furthermore, JYP Entertainments stocks increased by 44.77% over just 3 business days in the KOSDAQ stock market, especially after TWICEs new song Signal was predicted to becoming a mega hit.
According to reports, JYP Entertainments profits in sales jumped up by 99% compared to last years numbers, and their growth in business profits jumped up by 442%, showing an incredible improvement in business for the agency.
JYP Entertainment stocks have been steadily growing over the past week.
With their huge growth in profits, JYP Entertainment will be moving to a bigger office near Seouls Olympic Park from their old office in Chungdam, in which they used as the main office ever since 2002.
Insiders at JYP Entertainment revealed that the new office was in a prime location, close to the Olympic highway, Lotte World Tower, and the Han River Park. They also revealed that they will work towards making connections with these nearby locations and developing programs to promote Hallyu.
