During a recent interview, solo artist Jeon Jiyoon (also known as Jenyer) explained how her life changed since 4Minutes disbandment.
She expressed, After 4Minutes disbandment, I was less active [with promotions]. I usually dedicated my time to making music, but my album release kept getting pushed back. I was disappointed, but I knew it was something I had to accept.
She continued, I learned a lot at Cube Entertainment. They supported me a lot, but at the same time, there was inevitably a bit of interference. I really wanted to try making my own music and show fans how much Ive musically grown.
Of course, Im earning a lot less now, compared to my 4Minute days. But strangely, I feel a greater sense of stability. Im happy. Money is something I can always earn, but I want to earn it through music, Jeon Jiyoon added.
