Jang Hyuk leaves “Real Man” to film “Thorn”

 

Jang Hyuk shared his feelings on the MBC TV entertainment program “Real Man,” which he recently had to resign his role from.

Actor Jang Hyuk shared that starring in the program “Real Man” had a healing effect for him. Jang Hyuk said, “I do not feel regrets or anything for resigning, but the time I spend filming it was a time of healing for me. I did not pick Real Man because I wanted to be in an entertainment TV program. I wanted to look back on my life and influence to a better future. I did not just participate just for fun, I was cautious and considerate all throughout resignation.

Jang Hyuk added, “I wanted to think back on time when I got into the military at the age of 30 (through the program Real Man). It was a difficult time in my life, and I wanted to experience it again

Jang Hyuk to reunite with Jang Na Ra in upcoming MBC drama “Fated to Love You”

After 12 long years since the drama ”Successful Story of a Bright Girl“, actor Jang Hyuk will be reuniting with actress Jang Na Ra in the upcoming MBC Wednesday-Thursday drama “Fated to Love You“!

The drama’s representative announced, “Jang Hyuk and Jang Na Ra have been cast and the drama has been confirmed to air summer 2014.”

Jang Na Ra’s agency also confirmed the news with Sports World, “[Jang Na Ra] is extremely joyful that she gets to reunite with Jang Hyuk in twelve years… The drama is a production which you can watch as a whole family. The production itself is so much fun so she readily accepted the casting offer.”

“Fated to Love You” is a remake of the 2008 popular Taiwanese drama. It’s about the arranged marriage of a chaebol Lee Kun (played by Jang Hyuk) and a cheerful girl Kim Mi Young (played by Jang Na Ra)

Jang Hyuk and Jang Nara are coming together again in the same drama after 12 years.

MBC’s upcoming drama Fated to Love You has confirmed Jang Hyuk and Jang Nara as its leads and will be broadcasting in the summer of 2014.

Fated to Love You is the remake of a 2008 Taiwanese drama of the same title, which earned the average viewership rating of 10.2 percent, setting the highest rating record in the country at the time.

Jang Hyuk will be playing the role of ‘Lee Gun,’ the only son for nine generations in a rich family who is pressured to get married and have a child by the elders of the family.

Jang Nara will be acting as ‘Kim Mi Young,’ an ordinary woman with no charm, no lover and no wealth, who coincidentally earns a fancy travel package and falls into the trap of a plot during the trip

“Fated To Love You” to be remade!

The popular 2008 Taiwanese drama “Fated To Love You” is recently said to be remade into a drama on MBC.

 

Actress Jang Nara and actor Jang Hyuk are revealed to be in talks to star in this remake.

“Fated To Love You” is about a really unfashionable working class girl who has the desire to tie down her handsome boyfriend to be with her. Due to certain reasons, her boyfriend gets her to go on a love cruise and she started to ponder on how to lose her virginity and tie down her boyfriend. The girl ends up taking cold medicine which made her drowsy and went into the room of a man who is the sole male heir to his family’s company. The two end up having a one night stand. She’s then pregnant and his grandmother forces them to get married

Sonya took the final win on the Lee Mi Ja special of “Immortal Song 2“.

On the March 22nd episode, legendary singer Lee Mi Ja celebrated her 55th anniversary since her debut. Sonya sang “Wild Goose Father“, scored 426 points from the audience and winning the trophy.

Her competitors agreed that her unique, soulful voice deserved the crowd over. Jo Jang Hyuk said, “Her voice is still alive. It”s really good when she puts feeling into it,” and netizens commented, “Sonya”s classic voice, I got goosebumps,” “Sonya really transformed into Lee Mi Ja. It was the best,” and more.

Jang Hyuk and Jang Nara May Reunite for “Fated to Love You” Drama Remake

Jang Hyuk and Jang Nara may be reuniting for another drama, 12 years after starring together in SBS drama “Successful Story of a Bright Girl.”

The two are tipped to star in MBC Wednesday-Thursday drama “Fated to Love You ”(working title) this summer. Both sides are said to be positively reviewing the offer, although nothing can be confirmed just yet.

“Fated to Love You” is a remake of a 2008 Taiwanese drama of the same name. The drama achieved historically high average ratings of 10%, with peak ratings hitting 14.6%, in Taiwan. This would be equivalent to a rating of 70% in Korea. The drama will be produced by Number Three Pictures (“Arang and the Magistrate”) and directed by Lee Dong Yoon (“Queen’s Classroom,” “The Greatest Love”), and is scheduled to follow after Kim Myung Min’s “A New Leaf” in July

What Was Jang Hyuk’s Reason For Starring In ‘Real Men’?

Actor Jang Hyuk revealed the real reason he decided to star on MBC"s "Real Men".

On March 11th a staff briefing session was held at the Lotte Cart Art Center in Seoul for the movie Thorn, which included director Kim Tae Kyoon and actors Jang Hyuk and Jo Bo Ah.

Here, Jang Hyuk revealed, "I"m at the last end of 30. Now that the last number is 9, my age"s first number will soon change. So I keep thinking that I need to do something and change something, and a lot of thoughts run through my mind."

He continued, "If I abandon this thought and think, then no matter where I am I should be able to think about myself, but no matter which position I"m in, I"m always there. I thought that I should leave and have some time to think for myself."

"Thorn" is a suspense mellow film that revolves around a normal man Jang Hyuk and a fearless girl Jo Bo Ah, and an infatuation that buds out of the name of love
