Choi Jin Hyuk To Star In Korean Remake Of “Fated To Love You”

 

Hit Taiwanese drama "Fated To Love You" will be having it"s Korean remake, and actor Choi Jin Hyuk may be taking part as the second male protagonist.

The drama is gaining attention because of Jang Hyuk and Jang Na Ra"s on-screen reunion after 12 years, but fans have another reason to look forward to because of Choi Jin Hyuk"s possible casting.

According to his agency Red Brick House, "It is true that Choi Jin Hyuk has received an offer to star in the drama "Fated To Love You". Should he accept the offer, it will be his last production before he enters the military force."

The story is about a rich and affluent man who will become married to an average woman through an unwanted engagement. Choi Jin Hyuk"s character will have a one-sided romance with Jang Na Ra"s character

On April 23rd, Choi Jin Hyuk's agency revealed that he received an offer to star in MBC's upcoming drama "Fated To Love You", but nothing has been confirmed cause he's still currently considering about it.

"Fated To Love You" is a remake of a hit Taiwanese drama with a same name back on 2008. Jang Na Ra and Jang Hyuk were already confirmed to play as lead characters, which marked it as their reunion after 12 years since "Successful Story of a Bright Girl" in 2002.

Since Choi Jin Hyuk previously said that he will pick another project before his enlistment later this year, so the news of him was cast in this drama has gained much attention.

As mentioned earlier, "Fated To Love You" is the next Taiwanese drama up for a Korean remake, and starring in it will be Jang Hyuk and Jang Na Ra, who will be rekindling their onscreen romance once again through this production after 12 years. Joining them may be Choi Jin Hyuk as he is currently in discussion to play the secondary male protagonist.


His agency Red Brick House said on April 23, "We received the offer for "Fated To Love You" and are reviewing it positively. If he ends up appearing in it, it would be his last production before enlisting in the army." He will be joining the Seoul National Police Agency in the performance unit sometime this year.



The romantic comedy will center around the story of a woman and a wealthy man who end up in an unwanted marriage

Actor Choi Jin Hyuk is looking over a role in a new MBC Wednesday – Thursday drama titled, “Fated to Love You” as his next project.

On April 23, a rep of Choi Jin Hyuk’s agency, Red Brick House, stated, “He has received an offer for a role in ‘Fated to Love You’ and is looking over the role optimistically.”

“Fated to Love You” is a remake of the 2008 Taiwanese drama. It is a romantic comedy that portrays the story of how an “average girl” whose kindness is her only charm, and a “surrealistic perfectionist,” who is under the threat of losing his place as the heir from not being able to continue the family name, get married and the happenings that take place between them.

Jang Hyuk and Jang Nara have confirmed their roles in the drama. Choi Jin Hyuk has been offered to play character who has a crush on Kim Mi Young (Jana Nara)

Jang Hyuk shared his feelings on the MBC TV entertainment program “Real Man,” which he recently had to resign his role from.

Actor Jang Hyuk shared that starring in the program “Real Man” had a healing effect for him. Jang Hyuk said, “I do not feel regrets or anything for resigning, but the time I spend filming it was a time of healing for me. I did not pick Real Man because I wanted to be in an entertainment TV program. I wanted to look back on my life and influence to a better future. After 12 long years since the drama ”Successful Story of a Bright Girl“, actor Jang Hyuk will be reuniting with actress Jang Na Ra in the upcoming MBC Wednesday-Thursday drama “Fated to Love You“!

The drama’s representative announced, “Jang Hyuk and Jang Na Ra have been cast and the drama has been confirmed to air summer 2014.”

Jang Na Ra’s agency also confirmed the news with Sports World, “[Jang Na Ra] is extremely joyful that she gets to reunite with Jang Hyuk in twelve years… The drama is a production which you can watch as a whole family. The production itself is so much fun so she readily accepted the casting offer.”

“Fated to Love You” is a remake of the 2008 popular Taiwanese drama. It’s about the arranged marriage of a chaebol Lee Kun (played by Jang Hyuk) and a cheerful girl Kim Mi Young (played by Jang Na Ra)

“Fated To Love You” to be remade!

The popular 2008 Taiwanese drama “Fated To Love You” is recently said to be remade into a drama on MBC.

 

Actress Jang Nara and actor Jang Hyuk are revealed to be in talks to star in this remake.

“Fated To Love You” is about a really unfashionable working class girl who has the desire to tie down her handsome boyfriend to be with her. Due to certain reasons, her boyfriend gets her to go on a love cruise and she started to ponder on how to lose her virginity and tie down her boyfriend. The girl ends up taking cold medicine which made her drowsy and went into the room of a man who is the sole male heir to his family’s company. The two end up having a one night stand. She’s then pregnant and his grandmother forces them to get married
