Jaejoong revealed to have injured his thumb during ‘Manhole’ filming

It was revealed that JYJ’s Jaejoong recently injured his thumb while filming for his upcoming KBS2 drama, ‘Manhole’.

According to C-Jes Entertainment, the idol/actor came in contact a broken soju bottle, which was used as a prop for filming, and cut his left thumb, resulting in 7 stitches. He stopped participating in filming for a day after the incident on July 17, and will receive hospital treatment periodically. The label further added, “His injury is not such a minor injury, but because Jaejoong is the main character and has a lot of filming content, we have decided to stop filming for one day before resuming.”

Jaejoong, who returned from his mandatory military service this past December, will be making his comeback to broadcasts through ‘Manhole’. Also starring UEE, Jung Hye Sung, B1A4’s Baro, and more, the story revolves around a jobless man named Bong Pil (Jaejoong) who falls into a manhole one day.
