Set in the mountainous regions of Gangwon Province, ‘Mongdang Branch School Olympics’ is a light-hearted story revolving around the incidents that occur inside the school.  INFINITE’s Woohyun was originally planned to play the leading role in addition to making his official debut on the big screen as an actor.

The film had allegedly gone into production beginning last March and continued through this year but the project was canceled due to production budget issues and switching of directors.

Furthermore, the film also had been scheduled to receive outside funding however that has fallen through.  In order to receive proper funding, ‘Mongdang Branch School Olympics’ had up until September this year to complete filming.  As a result, it appears highly unlikely the movie will be hitting theaters anytime soon.

Meanwhile, INFINITE’s Woohyun is looking to renew his contract with Woollim Entertainment.
