Highlight’s Kikwang says he is less nervous debuting solo than in a group

Highlight’s Kikwang appeared on ‘Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook’ this week and performed for the audience.

During the interview portion, Yoo Hee Yeol introduced Kikwang by saying, “Welcome Kikwang, he’s already debuted four times now.” Kikwang later explained to the audience on debuting for the fourth time; he debuted back in 2009 with the stage name of AJ, then as a member of Beast, then as a member of Highlight, and now as a solo artist Kikwang.

Yoo Hee Yeol asked how Kikwang felt on debuting as a solo artist instead of a group. Kikwang answered, “I actually feel less nervous compared to when we came out as a group, why is that?” Yoo Hee Yeol joked back, “Maybe it’s cause you’re embarrassed by your members?” which caused everyone to laugh.

Along with the interview portion, Kikwang also covered some popular choreography such as Rain’s “Rainism” and EXO’s “Growl”.
