Gong Yoo Reveals He Doesn't Mind Being 'Nude' In Recent Press Conference, 'Goblin' Star's CNN Interview To Air Next Week
Gong Yoo doesn’t mind being “nude”? “Goblin” actor agrees on doing “nude” scenes in movies, but only if necessary.
In his recent visit to Hong Kong on May 5, Gong Yoo attended a press conference held at the Kerry Hotel. During the interview, the “Goblin” star talked about his admiration for Chinese movies in general.
When they talked about Tony Leung and his daring role in the 2007 movie “Lust, Caution”, Gong Yoo revealed how he would not mind showing off some skin. “Lust, Caution” was directed by the well-known director Lee Ang.
“I really respect Tony Leung as an actor. His performance was really bold. He was really brave,” said Gong Yoo. The actor also added how important it is for an actor to respect the script, as cited by Star2.
Gong Yoo also added that if it is necessary for the script, he is “ok” with showing off his body. Will fans be seeing Gong Yoo’s body real soon? Stay tuned.
Also during the interview, Gong Yoo also expressed his appreciation for Chinese actors like Chow Yun-fat and Andy Lau. Apparently, the “Goblin” star watched tons of Hong Kong movies during his generation.
“Growing up I watched a lot of Hong Kong movies, I watched big stars like Chow Yun-fat, Andy Lau and Tony Leung on the big screens,” revealed Gong Yoo. “Hong Kong movies were really popular in my generation.”
In other news, Gong Yoo’s “Talk Asia” interview by CNN is set to air this month. As reported by All Kpop, the actor’s interview with CNN’s Anna Coren is set to air on May 25.
Gong Yoo’s interview with the American broadcasting station was recorded earlier in April. The interview was supposedly scheduled to be aired during the last week of April but was postponed for unknown reasons.
