Girl’s Day recently starred as guests in tvN’s “Life’s Bar”. During the episode, the girls revealed and also confirmed that new relationships take life during the annual Idol Star Athletics Championship (ISAC) events.
According to Koreaboo, Girl’s Day’s Sojin how there are tons of couples at the same time during the annual ISAC. “…there has to be at least 10 couples here,” said Sojin.
Girl’s Day’s Hyeri also stated how it would be possible that an ex-boyfriend or even an ex-ex-boyfriend would be in the same spot that creates tons of tension. Hyeri also compared the ISAC stadium to a dating jungle.
Girl’s Day’s Yura also revealed how she saw idols look at each other sending off flirty gestures. Hyeri and Sojin then explained how couples won’t become “couples” by just eye contact.
The Girl’s Day member then proceeded to explain how idols hook-up by first looking around, looking for possible couple candidates to have a “some”.
“Some” means an ambiguous relationship status where a duo is really not dating. They however, would seem like lovers instead of being just friends.
Chaeyeon of DIA also confirmed that K-pop idols do hook-up during the annual ISAC. In a previous “Life’s Bar” episode, Chaeyeon detailed how K-pop idols would pass pieces of small paper to each other. The paper contained the idol’s phone number so they could hook-up whenever they like.
In other news, Girl’s Day recently debuted in the Billboard’s World Albums charts with their latest comeback album “Everyday #5”. “Everyday #5” was released on March 27.
As previously reported, Girl’s Day landed the number 7 spot on the Billboard World Album charts on April 6. This is the first time Girl’s Day landed a spot in the top 10 list of the Billboard World Album chart.
Aside from Girl’s Day, MONSTA X also landed the No. 3 spot on the Billboard World Album Chart for their album “The Clan Pt. 2.5: Beautiful”. They were followed by GOT7’s “Flight Log: Arrival” on the No. 8 spot.
