MV for Shinhwa’s title song “This Love” to be directed by “Gangnam Style” director + more details on ‘The Classic’
As Shinhwas comeback date rolls closer and closer, Shinhwa Company has released new information about the 11th album The Classic through their Facebook!
The title song will be This Love, and the MV will be directed by Cho Soo Hyun, the same director for Gangnam Style. However, its not Shinhwas first time working with the director as he previously directed the MV for Once in a Lifetime back in 2006.
Shinhwa Company said, Well be revealing Shinhwas unimaginable choreography through the screen. Theyll be showing a new side that no one could have imagined, and itll be the best choreography in history. The Shinhwa members all practiced waiting for their turn while they were filming for the MV.

Korean rapper Psy's "Gangnam Style" is nominated for the Best Song of the year and Psy himself for Favorite Asian Act for the Kids' Choice Awards hosted by Nickelodeon.
His song is competing with "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" sung by Taylor Swift, "Call Me Maybe" by Carly Rae Jepsen, "What Makes You Beautiful" by One Direction and so on.
The 26th Kids' Choice Awards will be aired on April 3. Kids pick their favorite celebrities for various categories by voting online until March 15. The awards ceremony has grown in clout with more and more celebrities taking pride in nominations and making appearances.

And even though hes slowed down his promotions in the United States, they havent forgotten himhis Gangnam Style was nominated for Best Song at Nickelodeons Kids Choice Awards.

Psys Gangnam Style is currently very popular globally among children.
The song has recently been nominated for the Best Song at the Nickelodeons Kids Choice Awards, which will be held on March 23.
The Kids Choice Awards is Nickelodeons special event that invites the most popular celebrities in each area, selected by children. At the awards, Psy will compete against other world-famous celebrities.
Other songs that have been nominated for the Best Song are Taylor Swift, Carly Rae Jepsen, and One Direction. From the vote that will be carried out until March 15, the winner will be selected.
Psy has also been nominated for the Favorite Asian Act. Hes competing against Super Juniors former member Hankyung.
Hosted by Josh Duhamel, the awards nominated Johnny Depp, Christine Stewart, and the lead characters of the film The Avengers, Adel, and Justin Bieber for other awards.

Psy gave a few hints about his next song and album.
MTV revealed that Psy was diligently working on his follow up act to Gangnam Style. It was revealed that hes working on the follow-up single by himself.
The global release of his new album is scheduled for some time in February or March. Because Psy had rewritten history with his hit Gangnam Style, many fans are looking forward to see what he has in store.
Even though Diplo had announced the collaboration between Psy and 2 Chainz, it has been revealed that he will not partake in any collaboration until he is finished with his new song. Psy said, I dont think Ill be doing any collaborations until my new track is done, and its not done yet, but Im thinking of doing it by myself, so I can prove I can do it one more time.
His new album will include songs that mix both Korean and English. He has also hinted that his new hallmark dance move will have something to do with sports.
Psy has been making it into CNN′s year-end lists for 2012.
On December 17 (local time), CNN announced its top 10 lists chosen by its readers of 2012, and Psy′s Gangnam Style was ranked at no. 8 on the top 10 song list.
CNN introduced that Psy′s music video for Gangnam Style was the "most-watched YouTube video of all time."
On December 22 the music video became the first video on YouTube to pass a billion views.
It also touched on how Psy had apologized for voicing anti-American sentiments in a previous performance.
The list set Psy among such pop stars as One Direction, Taylor Swift, P!nk and Kelly Clarkson. It was topped by Gotye′s Somebody That I Used to Know.

The Remarkable Awards 2012 in Germany entering its third year selected top players in Korean culture over a three day period in Germany with the help of local German fans.
Yesterday B.A.P already received the Best New Male Artists Award managed to snag another win with "No Mercy" beating out popular artists such as Psy's "Gangnam Style," Big Bang's "Fantastic Baby," Trouble Maker's "Troublemaker" and Junsu's "Tarantallegra."
The Remarkable Awards 2012 nominees are selected from the German Asian Music Charts and fans were to vote showing the strong Korean trends in Germany. In 2010 SHINee's "Lucifer" grabbed Song of the Year, while in 2011 it was BEAST's "Fiction." This is the first year for a rookie artist song to be selected.

Psy’s Gangnam Style has achieved recognition in yet another year end list.
The staff over at Spin Magazine unveiled its ‘Spin’s 40 Best Songs of 2012’ list in an article on December 9 (local time).
Coming in at number eight on the extensive list was Psy’s Gangnam Style as the magazine described the song as K-Pop’s first “′U Can’t Touch This′-caliber wedding song” and how the song had “beguiled everyone from Springsteen to Hammer himself”.
Psy’s song was selected for the list along with the likes of Kanye West, Katy Perry, Carly Rae Jepsen and more, reflecting just how big Psy and Gangnam Style had made it this year in pop.
G.O.O.D. MUSIC, featuring Kanye West, Big Sean, Pusha T and 2 Chainz′ Mercy was selected as the number one song.
