It"s safe to say that you are "Instafamous." Can you tell us how you got so big on Instagram?
Ha! gotta love that term... I started using Instagram a few years when it was a lot smaller, so I had the chance to meet up with a lot of amazing photographers who were a lot more accessible back then. I learned so much from them and eventually got featured as a suggested user by Instagram, so that"s when things really started taking off.
What do you look for when taking photos?
I love to isolate a single person in my photo to capture the feeling of being so small in such a large city. I try and mimic that sense of feeling you get when you look at photos of Paris, that "je ne sais quoi" - and translate that with a backdrop of New York.
What"s your favorite subject to photograph?
Street photography is probably my favorite because you can"t prepare for it or style it on your own! You just have to wait for the moment to happen and sometimes, you"re lucky to capture it.
How has Instagram changed your life?
It"s opened so many doors and I"ve gotten to work on some really amazing projects. But my favorite thing about it for sure is all the crazy talented people I"ve met from all over the world... I"ve made so many close friends from Instagram and I"m so thankful for that!
You rarely photograph people, but if you could do an editorial spread for one Korean celebrity, who would it be and why?
I think this is an obvious answer but probably CL because her style is crazy amazing and I feel like she would be so much fun to shoot!
What"s your advice for those just starting out on Instagram?
Have fun with it, don"t take anything too seriously, and don"t be afraid to try new things! A lot of times people get wrapped up in posting things they know people will like, just to get the likes. Don"t get hung up on numbers, just put the work you"re proud of out there.
Where can we find your work?
I post my digital photography on Tumblr, so please follow along!

(Photo : 2NE1 official Facebook page) (Photo : Twitter, NYLON Magazine) Although 2NE1 has yet to release an English album, the four ladies of the K-pop group have been making waves in the English market, and their latest interview with NYLON Magazine one such example of that.
“We’re four crazy girls who are very different, but came together through our love for music,” said 2NE1 leader CL for the U.S. edition of NYLON. “Our goal is just to put the best music out there possible. We don’t focus on any one region or country—we do this for everyone.”
2NE1"s feature with NYLON discussed their recent accomplishments, including having the group music featured on "The Bachelor" and "So You Think You Can Dance" and being the current record-holder for releasing the highest charting South Korean album on the Billboard 200 with "Crush."
“We were confident with the results,” continued CL. "But we didn"t know how everyone would react to it."
Earlier in the year, YG record label founder Yang Hyun Suk affirmed that it is entirely possible for Blackjacks to see another 2NE1 album in addition to a CL solo album before the end of the year.
"The long preparation time means there are many songs besides the ones included in the 2nd full album," said a blog post on YG-Life, "so other members’ solo songs initially planned to be included in the latest album are currently put aside for the next album."
"I would love to put my own album out, of course," admitted the 23-year-old rapper to Hypebeast TV. "I don"t know when it will be, but I"m working on it. I"m writing songs, trying to cut demos, everything. Hopefully I can soon."
Currently, 2NE1 is taking their "All or Nothing" world tour to Japan, with concerts at the Yokohama Arena, followed by the World Memorial Hall in Kobe.
2NE1 returned to Singapore with an even better and rocking concert tour – All Or Nothing. No stranger to the island for they had wow-ed fans with the New Evolution concert two years ago, 2NE1 did not fail to impress yet again. Returning two years later, 2NE1 proved to us just why they are indeed the best.
The Saturday night kick-started with their latest hit song ‘Crush’ and there marked a party-packed fun-filled night. Adrenaline ran high and the atmosphere was set ablaze when the quartet went on to sing their debut track ‘Fire’.
The concept of All Or Nothing Concert Tour lies in these four colours: Pink, White, Red and Black. With the pink theme, the party started on a high note with upbeat songs that had fans grooving non-stop. Putting on a twist of power to the feminine pink, 2NE1 also made use of props such as toy guns in their performance. The show that diffused into the white theme which saw the four ladies baring their souls. Slow-tempo ballads such as ‘Missing You’, ‘If I Were You’ and the unplugged acoustic version of ‘Come Back Home’ were performed. Like a roller-coaster ride, 2NE1 showed their sexy appeal and rebellious side during the next two coloured-themes.
What’s a concert without fanservice? Four extremely lucky fanboys received the biggest present of the night as they were pre-selected to go on stage for a special performance. An extended version of Sandara’s sexy ‘Kiss’ performance from their first concert tour, this time all four members danced sexily around a fanboy each. Though the boys appeared rather frozen and expressionless, we are sure they are holding their breaths and enjoying the moment!
Sandara also led on to another piece of good news for YG fans. She hinted that they will be coming back with their “family” – referring to the other artists in YG Entertainment. “Wouldn’t that be ‘wow, fantastic baby’?” she teased. We are highly anticipating and would gladly welcome YG Family Tour to Singapore anytime!
Blackjacks succeeded in their fan projects and kudos to them for the hard work! One of which was to answer “Yes” each time the line “Do You Love Me?” is sung. The passion and love from fans is definitely what gets the quartet going. Till the next girl-power concert by 2NE1!
With 2NE1 set to release the Japanese version of their “Crush” album on June 25, they have released short version music videos for “Do You Love Me” and “Falling in Love.“
While the music videos are pretty much the same as the original Korean versions, the Japanese versions of the song are played.
Previously 2NE1 released a teaser video that previewed to 10 tracks from the album. Other songs included in the album are “Crush,” “Come Back Home,” “Gotta be You,” “Happy,” “I Love You,” “If I Were You,” “Missing You,” and “Come Back Home” unplugged version.
(Photo : YouTube) As 2NE1 prepares to release the Japanese edition of the album "Crush," fans are experiencing a case of déjà vu with the Japanese version of the group"s hit music videos.
Last week, 2NE1 began their Japanese promotions by releasing the music video for the album title song, "Crush," using the Japanese version of the song.
"After they release their Japanese version of "Crush" on June 25—for the first time in about two years—they are to kick off their World Tour "All or Nothing" at Yokohama Arena on July 5 and 6, and at Kobe World Memorial Hall on July 12 and 13," said an official blog post on YG-Life.
"The quartet"s Japanese version of "Crush" is consisted of visual contents that are different to those of their Korean version, while it will also include the Japanese version of their music video."
According to 2NE1"s Japanese website, a limited edition of "Crush" will be available in Japan, with both the Japanese and Korean albums in one package.
But, this seems to only be the beginning, as recently on YouTube, the Japanese music videos for "Missing You," "Come Back Home," "Happy," and "Do You Love Me" have appeared as well.
Some 2NE1 fans even believe that the Japanese music videos of these hit singles are better than the Korean version.
"This is funnier than the Korean version," commented Runamitchie on YouTube regarding "Do You Love Me."
"Why are the Japanese versions of 2NE1 music videos better?" asked Kris2Chan on June 15.
Recently, Fuse magazine also named "Crush" as one of 2014"s best albums so far. It is also the highest charting K-pop album on the Billboard 200 so far, holding the position at number 61.
