G-Dragon Says He′ll Go to the Army When It′s Time on ′News Room′

Sohn Suk Hee asked, "It′s difficult to pinpoint an exact time, but who will G-Dragon be in about 10 years?"

G-Dragon responded, "To be honest, I get asked this question a lot, but every time, I don′t have a proper answer. Although I am constantly recreating my image and training, I work hard every day thinking tomorrow will be better than today, today is better than yesterday. If I think about five years, 10 years from now, it just seems more far away."

Sohn Suk Hee then said, "As a third person, I want to say to you, G-Dragon and Big Bang are at the top right now, and if you′re at the top, I think it′s important to enjoy it as much as you can."

Sohn Suk Hee also asked G-Dragon, "When are you going to the army?"

"I′ll go when it′s time for me to go," responded G-Dragon.

"I want to make one request," said Sohn Suk Hee. "When you come back from the army, I hope you don′t lose the emotions you have now" to which G-Dragon said, "That′s a big worry of mine. I won′t lose it."

Meanwhile, G-Dragon announced Big Bang′s ′MADE Series′ with his members on May 1, returning as a group for the first time in three years, and they′re currently in the middle of a world tour. G-Dragon recently opened a modern art exhibition, featuring collaborative projects with 14 Korean and foreign modern artists as well as pieces from his personal collection.

G-Dragon′s exhibition PEACEMINUSONE: Beyond the Stage will be showing at the Seoul Museum of Art from June 9 to August 23.

In 2014, Big Bang celebrated the fifth anniversary of its Japanese debut with the five-dome tour, performing in the Nagoya Dome on November 15-16, the Osaka Kyocera Dome on November 20-23, the Fukuokay Yahoo Oku Dome on December 6-7, the Sapporo Dome on December 20, the Tokyo Dome on December 25-27, and the Osaka Kyocera Dome on Janaruy 16-18, visiting five cities with 15 concerts and 741,000 fans.

After completing the tour, G-Dragon told the fans, "Last year, we weren′t able to show new stages of Big Bang, so it′s very unfortunate, but we promise to return with a new album in the new year. We won′t make the waiting time go to waste, and the five Big Bang members will return, so we ask for your unchanging love and support."
