FT Island and CN Blue Join Summer Sonic Festival in Japan

Ready to rock out, FT Island and CN Blue will be joining talented musicians for the Summer Sonic Festival 2013, an annual rock festival in Japan.On May 13, the lineup for the Summer Sonic 2013 was updated on its official site, with both FT Island and CN Blue’s names on the list.FT Island stood on the Summer Sonic stage in 2010, while this will be CN Blue’s first time. Both groups will perform on the Rainbow Stage in Tokyo on August 10, and the Flower Stage in Osaka on August 11. Meanwhile, FT Island will release its third Japanese album, Rated-FT on June 5, while CN Blue will start its ZEPP Tour in July

FT ISLAND and CNBLUE added to Japan's Summer Sonic line-up

FNC Entertainment idol bands CNBLUE and FT ISLAND have been added to the line-up of one of Japan's biggest music festivals. Summer Sonic is an annual two or three day rock festival which is held at both Osaka and Chiba at the same time. FT ISLAND and CNBLUE will be playing the Rainbow Stage in Tokyo on August 10th, and will be heading to Osaka for a performance on the Flower Stage a day later, on August 11th. Other bands playing on the same days include Japanese bands such as ONE OK ROCK, coldrain, the HIATUS, and Maximum the Hormone, as well as Western bands Linkin Park, and Metallica, among others
