Yoon Eun Hye”s fans have expressed their opinion about the actress starring in a film with Park Shi Hoo. They don”t like it. And her recently established official fan club let her agency, J Army Entertaiment, know exactly how they felt about it.

Her official fan club in Korea, known as Amazing, issued a release saying that fan club administrators do not approve of the actress” intention to star in a Korean-Chinese film with actor Park Shi Hoo.

The film, titled “Love After Love” would be Park”s first Korean production since he was involved in alleged sexual assault scandal early in 2013. The scandal happened when a rookie actress claimed that the couple had intimate relations when she was too drunk to protest. He claimed the relations were consensual....

After Xiumin”s remake MV of Lim Chang Jung”s “A Glass of Soju” broke through 300,000 views on Mnet, the channel, as promised, released some precious behind-the-scenes footage of the idol.

Cable channel Mnet is currently in the process of planning a musical drama.

A representative from Mnet commented that “A musical drama that will follow ‘Monstar’ will air in December. We have yet to decide on a title, and we are currently in the process of casting.”

They further added, “The working title is currently ‘Fall Seven Times, Rise Eight Times’ but it will most likely change. Also, the synopsis that became known is the earlier version, and the actual synopsis and even the characterizations have changed a lot.” ...

A film inspired by a real life science scandal might not initially seem like a box office draw. But the scandal in the k-movie “The Whistle Blower” concerns the highly controversial topic of cloning. That may be why “The Whistle Blower” drew 100,000 viewers on its opening night. The film, which opened on Oct. 2, earned over $4 million on its first weekend.

The film tells the story of a Korean scientist Hwang Woo Suk, who fabricated evidence to support his claim that he cloned stem cells from human embryos. He published two papers saying that he had been able to do so. But a whistle blower later revealed that Hwang faked data and obtained human egg cells by paying for them, which is considered unethical. His work was eventually discredited....

Something about singer-actor Bi Rain seems to attract a scandal. Only this week, the “Full House” star was cleared of charges stemming from an embezzlement scandal and before the singer”s fans could breathe a sigh of relief, he was involved in yet another scandal.

He was cleared of a 2010 scandal that led to the indictment of two executives at his record label J. Tune Entertainment. An investor claimed that he and his partners misused funds and that his actions lowered the company”s stock value. The singer was accused of leasing expensive cars paid for by the company and of raising his modeling fee to $2.25 million over three years. But the court ruled that although such behavior might be considered questionable, any damage done to the company”s stock rating was minimal. He was declared innocent of all charges....
